it is just approximation don't take the figure seriously. corruption etc are common problem in every new born nation. And India performed well bcoz India was ULTRA POOR(thanks to Britishers) and too much diverse so India controlled the democracy in ultra populated and ultra diverse nation It is the greatest achievement of India. Like see other African , south American ,Asian nations who got independence paralal to us. military rule...dictatorship and civil war even USA took 200 Years to become a super power even they were not so much illiterate and poor as us.

Muthu Kumar What do you think about "Atithi Devo Bhava" as simply a fake culture that India not really practice for foreigners. For Example: 10 to 20 times of entry fees for foreigners, Dirtiness of a country. It should not be like this if we consider Guests as God. Certainly it is not in practice, it is just a word of mouth and completely fake.
