Great video essay, and amazing conclusion. I also liked finding out that I wasn't the only one who got a little taken aback by act 3, I mean, don't get me wrong, it's still amazing, but it's SUPER underwhelming compared to the other acts. I personally think that PO3 IS actually the right scryb for act 3, I just think the theming of his 3d area, while very cool, could have been made a little more interesting, and that his core mechanic could have been made to better fit the style of the game overall. But, I do understand these elements too, I mean, PO3's area isn't SUPPOSED to be as fun as Leshy's, that's the whole point, you want to escape him, but I still feel like it could have been executed slightly better.

Hey thanks for the comment! I like your read a lot on Act 3. In retrospect it makes a lot of sense considering Act 2's buildup with P03s dungeon purposefully being the most drab. But yeah, it doesn't change the fact his core mechanic is fairly monotonous and less immediately fun unlike all the others present. I'm really glad you enjoyed the vid!!!
