Probably not for me personally. My phone is also my holiday camera. However, I can see how it would be very suitable for the younger people and older people I know. Mostly on a cost basis. Most people don’t need or want expensive phones. One of the reasons people are not upgrading their phones is because they have become so expensive. The SE4 on a contract would be a lot more affordable for a lot more people.

I honestly hope it has the xr design, the xr was an amazing design and so unique, and so useable and versatile at that I'm hoping it atleast looks like it, or reminds everyone of it.

Well, the XR was the best seller vs the iPhone XS models. But there's quite a few improvements between the XR and 14 design: - OLED 460ppi display vs LCD 326ppi display - HDR - Smaller notch - MagSsfe - Flat edges 🤤 And obviously many other improvements beyond just the design. There's a lot more to a phone than how it looks!

I really doubt the A18, besides the phone seems to OP. Someone isnt telling the downsides of the phone, if its gonna be under 500 you should damn well expect some giant plot twist.

I pretty much agree, but this is what all the rumors are saying right now. I do think the A18 chip with Apple Intelligence part is accurate, assuming Apple wants to get their AI features/a new device into as many hands as possible. I'm not sure if the price rumors will be accurate. It does seem unrealistic to sell that device for under $500. It would make more sense if they were charging for some of the AI features (which currently they are not) because then the phone becomes more of a "loss leader."

I would have assumed the SE would buy n large be an iphone 13 mini with the new A18 chip + Apple Intelligence. This would’ve kept costs down while also being some what current gen with the small bezels + notch design apples been doing.

The SE 4 will truly be a great midranger from Apple. The last 2 were misses in my opinion, especially the SE 3. Finally ditching the iPhone 8 design is a great change, makes the phone look like it’s from today’s era, and also gets extra battery life

Another great great video! I have the SE 2, and I’d LOVE an upgrade. I was thinking about buying a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra for the camera, but I’d still use the se 2 for the actual phone. But with these upgrades…I’ll have to consider, because I LOVE optical zoom…it’s one of my favorite camera features!

Thank you! That will be a tough choice! The S21 Ultra has some great cameras, but it might be better only carrying around one phone instead of two. Will you be able to wait until March or April of next year? 😅

I'd highly recommend considering the Sony Xperia 1 VI. It's got excellent optical zoom, which doesn't crop the image and instead the lenses move inside.
