@@storytellerpaulghee was traditionally used in india without all These issues, it is modern diet of refined oil , burger , pizza , lays , biryani , gulab jamoon which people are consuming without break the reason for lifestyle diseases. Mostly white sugar & refined oil is the culprit not Ghee .

Adulteration free Ghee is far better than oil. My grand father eat Rajasthani gond laddu loaded with ghee in winters at the age of 80 .... There is no cholesterol or blockage in heart.

OK saturated fats aren't bad. Also who's eating so many tablespoons a day? Moderation is key. I only use half to one tablespoon a day. Also I started using ghee and guess what!? I've lost weight. A lot too. Because I'm eating high fat and protein so I'm actually eating less since I'm satisfied and don't get hungry and can intermittent fast longer.

Problem is not the ghee. It's chips, soft drinks, sugar, extra salt, junk food are the problem. Ghee is healthy source of fat consumed on moderation.

Yeah i learnt my lesson a long time ago that not to take nutrition advice from modern medical doctors, they only associate weight gain with calories, dont let this stop you from consuming ghee, eat more of it. I eat it everyday, not just 3 tablespoons i cook my every meal in it, and i have 23 BMI.

A2 Desi ghee made with vedic bilona method(hand churned from curd) is far better than refined oils A2 milk means the milk from native indian breeds with a hump in the back of their neck, the ones with ears hanging down and skin hanging down in the neck

I consume a lot of ghee (Buffalo's) and I'm 6'2 (genetic obviously) and I can pick this guy up using only one of my hands (lol). I just workout well and consume Whey Protein regularly. I'm fully vegetarian, I don't touch sugar and junk food, just sometimes a little 'gud/jaggery' for taste. I'm Haryanvi and we have the fittest men in India and we all consume ghee. This is a propoganda companies have spreaded against ghee since we yield our ghee by our cows/buffalos and no businessmen get richer. Edit: please make sure you don't bathe into it and stay physically active throughout your day!

Ghee IS the most brilliant source of fat in the world. The whole joint lubricant BS may not be true, but most vegetarian meals effectively lack good fats hence most Indian meals are loaded with ghee. Animal fats are. Absolutely safe to consume.

Ghee shouldn’t be taken with meal but before meal to let it work properly. Ghee acts as lubricant when taken on empty stomach. Medical science and Ayurveda are very different, please don’t combine these two things.

So basically what he is telling is that my father is consuming 450 calories with 3 tbsp of ghee for past 70 years (he is 89 now) , and me for past 30 years (I am 50 now). It's a serious issue and we need to be careful for our future. Thanks a ton.

Ghee is one of the healthiest choices for thousands of years, and of course anything taken too much is bad. 1 or 2 teaspoon of ghee is just fine, who will eat 3 Tablespoon all the time? The thing that gets me irritated is how doctors that spend so much time studying is still saying silly things? Not all fats works the same, not all sugars work the same, not all carbs work the same! There is always the healthier option examples of fats like ghee, sugar like jaggery, carbs like atta flour, quinoa or sweet potatoes. All the healthier options works differently in the body. Another so called expert doctor said that "Sugar in coke and other healthier options are exactly the same, sugar is sugar!" Brilliant doctors we have, what a waste of money, time and resources!

My friend you need to do a lot of reading. Mainly about ghee and ketogenesis. Probably its better to have 150 calories of fat rather than 150 calories of sugary/ starchy food for 2 reasons 1. It keeps you feel fuller for longer hence total calorie intake decreases. 2. Carbs induce more hunger. Also other sources of fatty food like fish or avocado might not be culturally or economically feasible. Ghee is omnipresent. Dont even add 1 teaspoonful of ghee. Add just a few drops.

Indian khane me thoda sa ghee bilkul bhi problem nahi karta. Maine experience Kiya hai. I left ghee, wheat bajra etc, Nd was on light weight diet fruits, protein etc. Than i felt dammmm sick. No strength in my arms,legs.

This depends on individual to individual as for some it can be harmful and for someone it can be beneficial also. Taking anything more than need can be really harmful but smaller proportions with meals will only make it good for digestion and many more. Ya but not like a bowl is full of ghee or any kind of butter and the eatables are floating, that's also no healthy Zaroorat se jyada to Amrit bhi accha nahi hai😂

Ignore this guy, he is saying 3 tablespoon( 10 teaspoons) ghee is bad..( which might be true ) but we use 1-2 teaspoons of ghee as extra toping on roti etc ...because of his crappy behaviour we end up relying on mayonese / dalda and other unhealthy fats for dressing/ cooking ...

Dude even if you had to take loan take it to buy ghee, if you eat curd in every meal indirectly you're eating ghee, that's good anyway, without this you won't get good fat

Just coz your a doctor doesn’t mean whatever you say is right!! I’m a neurologist myself and i totally disagree with you! You should certainly be not overloading yourself with calories but that doesn’t make ghee an unhealthy source of fat! Go redo your basics!!

Well, he is right partly. He is not specifically tellings things. See if you have oily or fatty food like meat or puri then don't put ghee because it will only increase your calories a lot.

Wrong ! False info . I have 3-4 spoons of pure ghee or more daily . I generally reduced sugar and don’t eat after 6:15 PM and I am a size 2 .

I dont see anything wrong that he said. He dint say dont use ghee. He said dont consume too much or additional ghee. Ghee is riddled with calories and all you out there saying you are thinner than him having ghee well good for you but it doesnt mean that would apply to another person whos bmr is lower

mfs criticizing him dont know shit about nutrition, they are saying stuff like "i eat ghee and im thinner than you" as if being skinny is healthy I see so many aunties drenching rotis in bowls of ghee saying its gonna make food healthier. And so many uncles saying shit like I dont eat butter its unhealthy and proceed to gulp down many tablespoons of ghee, ghee is not healthier than butter in any way. No wonder most indians are skinny fat who look good in clothes but as soon as they take them off they have huge pot bellies and they continue to think they are healthy by following a very idiotic and shitty thing called Body mass index (BMI), its literally a useless metric for 99% of the population

I don't belive you infact. We should take it, but only Desi cow ghee. It has a lot of health benefits. And excess of every thing is bad If we will take it excessively, then definitely going to gain . But just a tablespoon of ghee with every meal is good for your overall health.
