NH 48 north of Mumbai going towards Surat is a nightmare, poor road conditions, even the new PQC road is uneven and poorly done. The trucks create a traffic nightmare. Wrong lane driving is the worst of anywhere I have seen in the country leading to so many traffic jams. The Mumbai Delhi expressway should have been built long ago but better late than never.

Entire stretch of NH48 that comes in Maharashtra is in pathetic condition. It's entire stretch from Palghar to Kolhapur should be well maintained because in other states as far as I know it is not in that bad condition as it's in Maharashtra.
