Zechariah 6:12 does say "He" singular. Zechariah 6:13 does say "And He shall bear the glory and shall Sit and Rule on His Throne and he shall be Priest upon His Throne". The King is God.

Why isn’t any instance of יהושע/Joshua in the Pentateuch rendered as Jesus? 2. Why isn’t any instance of ישוע/Jeshua in the books of Ezra and Nechemia rendered as Jesus? The second question is of particular importance because Messianic Jews refer to Jesus as ישוע/Jeshua. So shouldn’t they point to any of those as Jesus references?

When I read the Gospel I base my understanding on the Tanakh Jewish scripture. When Christians read the Gospel they base their understanding on Paul's teachings regarding the Holy Spirit. The problem is that Christians with different beliefs about Jesus are all claiming to be guided by the Holy Spirit however if the Holy Spirit was real there would not be Christians in every sect of Christianity all claiming they are correctly guided to their sect of Christianity by the Holy Spirit. . Every Christian in every Christian sect says they are guided by the holy spirit meaning the holy spirit is guiding Christians into different sects which have different beliefs therefore do not use dreams, visions, voices, experiences or miracles to find truth instead only trust the scriptures of God to show what is true and what is false. Dreams, visions, voices, experiences and miracles do not show what is true or what is false because people in every religion stop doing drugs and they stop drinking and they see visions and they hear voices and amazing things happen to them meaning the truth of a religion cannot be based on experiences and visions because people in every religion have experiences and visions. . The way to know what is true is to measure everything according to scripture with the question: does a religious teaching confirm or contradict Tanakh Jewish scripture which Jesus said will never change and must be followed by the Jewish people forever in Gospel of Matthew 5:17 - 5:20 and Gospel of Matthew 23:1 - 23:3. . The Torah says you shall not add or subtract from the Torah in Deuteronomy 4:2 and Deuteronomy 13:1 in Tanakh Jewish scripture or Deuteronomy 12:32 in a Christian Bible because in this way a prophet shows if he is a true prophet who confirms the Torah or if he is a false prophet who adds or subtracts from what is in the Torah for the Jewish people to follow forever.

“When Christian’s receive the Holy Spirit they gain an ability to discern what is true and what is not” is a false teaching because it is used by every Christian sect to claim they are the correct “Christian” sect and all other “Christian” sects are wrong. . If miracles only happened in one religion then humans would have no free will and every human would be in one religion. Humans have free will and need to use their brains because miracles are found in all religions. . The sign of a prophet is not dreams or miracles because everyone can have dreams and miracles but the sign of a true prophet is his message. Is the prophet confirming the first and most important commandment that "God is one" or has the prophet changed the message by claiming "God is not one in one but is two in one or three in one or one hundred in one." . God allows some people in every religion to make miracles and have dreams to test who is disobeying the word of God and this happens in every religion when a person believes a false prophet who will speak words which contradict the word of God and they make miracles in Deuteronomy 13:2 - 13:4 meaning there are some false prophets in every religion who can make miracles and who have dreams. . A true prophet confirms the original word of God which is in Tanakh Jewish scripture and does not use new words to change the meaning of the original words of God. For example when God says "God is one" a prophet will not change these words by adding or subtracting words for example by claiming "God is three in one" because God in the Torah forbids anyone from adding or subtracting from this Torah commandment. . In these ways God shows who are true prophets and who are false prophets and which dreams are truthful and which dreams are not truthful and which words are true and which words are false through experiences and miracles which can be had by both truthful prophets and false prophets. The test described in 1 Kings 13:14 - 13:24 is teaching that the word of God will not change and do not believe anyone who claims the word of God has changed. . Knowledge of scripture allows a person to avoid being misled by experiences and dreams and miracles based on words which contradict the original teachings of God in the Tanakh which both the Gospel and Quran confirm is the truth. Why are there people in every religion who experience miracles? . Deuteronomy 13:2 If there comes in the midst of you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams and he gives you a sign or a wonder, . Deuteronomy 13:3 and the sign or the wonder happens and then he spoke to you saying: "Let us go after other gods (not the one God but a God who is "two in one" or “three in one” or "one hundred in one"), which you have not known, and let us serve them (not the one God but a God who is "two in one" or “three in one” or "one hundred in one")'; . Deuteronomy 13:4 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams; for the LORD your God is testing you to know whether you love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

The original Septuagint was of the Five Books of Moses, with a few changes to appease the church. It was done by 70 Rabbis . That Septuagint was destroyed in a fire. The current version was produced by the church. It also includes the Books of Prophets as mistranslated to accommodate church doctrine.

If I were a Christian, I would read Zechariah 12 everyday because it is the only thing that even comes close to the Chrisian story. Problem is, anybody can write a story that appears to resemble something previously written. It wouldn't be difficult. Jesus never fulfilled the things that were to be fulfilled. The condition of Israel and Jerusalem during the events recorded in the NT do not match the description of what was foretold to happen. Not to mention Isaiah 53, Again! God Bless!

The 'snake' or, Shining One, isn't striking at or attacking anyone's heel. There are two problems right there. The first one was never a problem for me since it is said to be Satan, who masquerades as an angel of light. He is the Morning Star who must rise in your hearts. The context of Psalm 110 RULES OUT Jesus. When did Jesus "rule in the midst" of his foes (verse 2)? Far from ruling, his enemies led him off - captive - to be crucified (remember?)! And how did Jesus fulfil verse 3? There is no Christology in the entire Psalm, or can you show me any? Note that verse 1 in your version says "sit at my right hand, UNTIL I make your enemies your footstool", so that position at the right hand of God is _provisional_ or temporary, not permanent. Why did you miss out the "until" conjunction? It is God's promise to David that he will be specially empowered until he vanquishes his enemies, and it was fulfilled. No need to shoehorn Jesus into the text, where he doesn't belong in context.

The Septuagint, written centuries before Jesus, only comprised the first five books of the Bible (Pentateuch). The other books, including Zechariah, were translated later into Greek and added to the Septuagint. However, only the Roman Catholic Church kept copies of the Septuagint and the later Greek translations of the Hebrew Bible. So the Church became its sole custodian, which means it could change the wording in the first few centuries AD, as it pleased. What we read today as the Septuagint is the Roman Catholic version, and all our copies stem from that, so we cannot cross-check the Septuagint with any other source.

Then they start berating the Talmud and how modern Jews are "Rabbinic" and are no longer Torah observant and follow man made Talmudic laws etc. Yet the very fact that the only reason Hebrew is still readable and the Pronunciation of Hebrew was Orally and kept within Rabbinic Tradition, Talmud and the Masoretes made the Vowel system etc says a lot. The greek transliteration in both passages of the Septuagint is Ἰησοῦς. Also in the first century the greek transliteration of יְֵשׁוּעַ/יְהוֹשׁוּעַ was Ἰησοῦς, which is used in the New Testament. All three have the same name. Whats interesting to me is that in Chapters 3&4 Jehoshua and Zerubabbel are both mentioned, while in Chapter 6 Jehoshua recieves a crown. Just like Mechizedek it foreshadows the a royal priesthood - Priest and King united in peace. In Deutoronomy 18:15 Moses points to a coming Prophet like him. After him Jehoshua son of Nun is not the fullfillment, and yet also foreshadows the Prophet promised by Moses, whom also leads the people into the Promised Land. Messiah ben Judah and Messiah ben Joseph. Genesis 49 clearly says the scepter remains in Judah until Shiloh comes. That's when the scepter becomes copper. That's when the scepter switches to Messiah ben Joseph who is a king priest. The Messiah at the Second Coming is a King-priest like Melchizedek. Joshua the high priest is becoming a king at Zechariah 3:3-8. So he represents Messiah ben Joseph. Simple: Jesus the MESSIAH comes through the tribe of Joseph at the Second Coming. One problem with Judaism is that they don't recognize the first and second coming. The first and second wave offerings. Your interpretation of the tree cut down in Daniel 4:23 is ridiculous, because the tree clearly represents Belteshazzar himself (verse 22: "You, O king, are that tree"). So the two bands around its stump relate to Belteshazzar, not to a messiah! The bands of iron and bronze point to his later restoration (although not to his former golden greatness), once he acknowledges the true God and becomes sane. _What has Jesus got to do with Babylonian Belteshazzar?_ The sceptre in Gen. 49 is not described as being of copper. A royal sceptre would be of gold.
