I like Linux because I am comfortable with it. I am sure Windows or Mac is good also.

I don't like Windows but I think all of open source code editors maded for windows. Windows has a big app environment :)

Windows's large app library is undeniable, but Linux offers a powerful and customizable environment that makes it a fantastic choice for developers.

It's a fantastic choice for programming due to its flexibility, security, and wide range of development tools. Plus, it's open-source, so you have a lot of freedom to customize and adapt it to your needs. Enjoy exploring Linux! Just a quick note: it's actually spelled "Linux".

Can I ask why you think that? Also what is better?
@basedandredpilled792021 күн бұрын
@@SMNDVC Linux doesn't work and has a lot of issues that simply don't occur on windows or even mac. Fixing those issues takes time that could otherwise be spent on software development.

Thanks for your comment! It's true that Linux can sometimes present challenges, especially for those new to it. However, many developers find that the flexibility, security, and performance benefits outweigh the initial learning curve and occasional issues. Linux offers powerful tools and environments specifically tailored for development, and once you get past the setup phase, it can significantly streamline your workflow. Plus, the extensive Linux community is always there to help troubleshoot and provide support. Every operating system has its pros and cons, and the best choice often depends on your specific needs and preferences. For many, the trade-offs of Linux are worth the benefits it brings to software development :)

@@basedandredpilled7920 I think I agree with you, every time I'm tempted to install Linux and despite my knowledge I can't overcome some of the problems. Some of the bugs make me laugh. In 1 week I tried Ubuntu and Zoring, debian (mint). Dual monitor problems, lagging, sound problems aah ..
