My husband and I took our kids to Austin Tx last week. Have our 13 yr old a choice of anywhere he wanted to go in town and he chose a super car garage & showroom. Turns out they have #0 and #1 Shelby’s made that year. The ones that were in every promo and magazine you’ll see from 2012. Super cool! He was not disappointed in the cars we saw that day. Nothing crazy but each one was so unique and thus worth $$$!

Man you've been working to hard because at 8:00 you mentioned beefed-up half-shafts when you meant axles. I'm 'zonking' the side window covers for creating a bigger 'blindspot' and of course as you mentioned, the plastic fake side scoops. But, regardless .!.. that's a great L👀king car and great review 👍

Yes I agree. It matters when the car was converted. I have a 07 427 convertible super snake.1st year for the return of the gt500.I look at back in the day what a 65gt350 vs a 66.I think the 07 will be the most valuable. But also I think all the SS built when Carroll was alive will bring the most money.

Can someone help me out here? Why was dodge bragging about the hellcat's 707hp when they came out in 2015 I believe and labeled it fastest production car if this mustang was out in 2012 with over 750hp. Im confused 😕

I think Scott misunderstood your question Kendrick so let me start off by saying this, the reason the Hellcat was often bragged about in regards to the 700 plus horsepower figure was because it was a mass produced machine. Dodge was marketing the fact that you could go to almost any reputable dodge dealer and get one fresh off the lot. It's a mass produced high horsepower vehicle where as the Shelby is no where near the hellcat in terms of production numbers in respect to whatever generation of mustang it was produced in. There were quite a few tuner ford's touching basically 700 horsepower before the hellcat but none of them were "mass" produced and were all made in relatively low quantity for example Shelby, Roush, and Saleen. So while this super snake had those numbers it was a very rare care in comparison to a hellcat which is a run of the mill vehicle in the grand scheme of things.

@@diesel379x yes exactly and it's not putting ford down or anything because in reality the 5th generation shelby as well as even the brand new gt500 are really more a ford vehicle rather than a vehicle made solely by shelby america. The GT500 made by ford is really SVT with Shelby designers brought in on deck. But the super snake showed here has a HUGE price tag over a "regular" GT500. The hellcat is a regular staple part of the dodge lineup where as the gt500 as well as other Shelby and Ford SVT vehicles come for a little and then go before they're next redesign. It's all in the production numbers. Same with the Demon, it was far from the first manufactured car to hit 9s in the 1/4 mile but it was the first turn key production car that with over 1,000 units to achieve that.
