Why is there a delay in Joining Date after acceptance of offer letter?

Hello, I have received the offer letter from one of the IB Where my joining was supposed to be on 16th oct. Due to bgv it's postponed to 23rd oct. I have received an addendum document which indicates my new joining date. Is it fine or do i need to ask for different offer letter which indicates 23rd as my joining and which have other details as well. Please Guide

Sir I've got the offer letter, also the joining letter then the hr called me to that there's a delay in joining, I've recorded the calls, but now it's been a over a month that they are hardly replying, And I've visited the office then they've said that I would be informed within a week, So this delay has been going on, They are also accepting their fault but they are not willing to commit any joining date. Because of them I've resigned and have no job. Can this matter can be handeled legally or any solution can you give me sir

Hello sir I got selected in a product based company in oncampus placement drive in 2023 and the onbarding and joining in company was in july/august 2024 till now i had received the letter of intent and document verification but no further details of offer letter and on boarding process, sir what are the further steps i need to do.

Usually you should keep searching and join the company that gives you a job asap. You can write to this company asking about when would be your joining date. Incase they don't respond you should carry on with your search.

Sir my joining is on 19 August in new company but my LWD in current company is on 17 so I will get relieving on the same day will there be any issue in bgv ? As BGV already started but only the reliving letter is left

@@kulmu56 Yes most companies that follow a proper HR policy will give you your relieving letter and rest of the dues on your last date and you should collect it. Don't expect someone to come and give you.

Sir, I got an offer letter but the date of joining is not mentioned in the offer letter. What should I do? I raised a mail to her but No response from the opposite side.

Hy bro I was selected for PWC SDC Bangalore and done HR discussion on July 26th. In HR discussion mentioned with in 2 3 day's u wil get an offer letter. But I didn't get till now. It's been Already more than 2weeks. If I try to contact hr, she update me that we r waiting for approval, we wil keep you updated. Can you help me with my situation.pls Is it worth of waiting r better trying fr new opportunities as well. Pls kindly reply

You can talk to them. But what should be a problem to join early. It is better. You have a confirmation. Which is good. Most engineers are waiting for their DOJ letter.

If you have joining date then just go to office on that date. Also if you are WFH then you will get emails.before the joining date. Remember HR is always dealing with lot of people. So they may not be able answer.

By talking to the HR. But it means you are trying to find a better job. So the company may just cancel your appointment and call the next best candidate.
