These changes in SCP056 will generally occur the moment all people in the area lose focus on the subject, which occurs immediately upon exposure to a new object or person.

Here my theory: Probably because SCP-056 only itself the perfections of whatever it encounter like people, animals, and items. The SCP however are error in reality. So its anonymous properties can’t become the perfect versions of what’s essence supposed be imperfection. That possibility is what gets on SCP-056 so much; inferiority.

Since an anonymous are errors in reality, there be no perfected version of said error. Which is why SCP-056 is fearful and angry of them.

It's aversity to other anomalies would be a problem, but still a good idea anyway. The thing about scientists is that being smarter is just all talk and no bite. Where's the research papers, the awards, experiments, peer-review, etc...? Either 056 faces defeat as all it can do is talk with absolutely no work to show for it or they would be pumping out so much scientific papers that the scp foundation would most certainly put to good use. Either way it's a win-win.

Something else that was left out of this video; The SCP foundation did attempt to examine it with types of monitors rather than cameras, seeing its heat signature and listening, rather than looking. I know someone like this. She came to my school this school year. She has the same name as me. She has the same hair color as me. We played on the same sports team. But she speaks 3 languages, is popular, and has every form of social media imaginable. And worst of all: She started hanging out with some of my best friends so much that they barely had time to acknowledge my existence. They skipped my birthday party to celebrate Halloween with her. I think the foundation should be more precautious for this SCP's containment procedure or atleast separate it from other SCPs. Imagine it breaching containment and having an encounter with violent and dangerous SCPs "but better". Also, I like how the language filter is slightly opening up, maybe this would give way for more sensitive anomalies to be explained and to reduce the "redaction" of details in the videos.

Oh wow, I recently had an idea for an SCP very similar to this. An anomalous entity that could take the shape of many different people, even ones that already exist, etc, with the main focus of it being that the entity is a more 'successful' version of you in every conceivable way, but without the inanimate objects and non-human entities as well, lol. Just one thing that was not mentioned. 056 has a big weakness, it can't use it's abilities against other abnormalities, making it hate and downright fear the others. I Got an idea for taking this SCP down a notch. Have the most average and normal looking person that nobody would ever even think of paying any attention to and have them say to SCP-056, "I am better than you at not existing!" If my theory is correct there should only be two possibilities, one is it stops existing and erases itself from reality to be better than that said person or they simply just turn invisible or turn into a fly or a simple, plain rock or something that nobody would pay any attention to. (ok I suddenly had another thought or idea, what if it can't do either of those because it wants people to pay attention to it? Because if that is the case it just might have a mental breakdown over how it can't be better than that person. If this is what happens that would be awesome!)

I would honestly love to meet it, since I have a low self-esteem already, depression and mild social anxiety, I don't think it can do much. Besides, I'd love to have intelligent conversations, and talk about topics I know about, and if they know more, which of course they would, I'd just happily take notes. I am just a humble jack of all trades, so I definitely am aware that there will always be a bigger fish.

Honestly, I think this creature would struggle to bother a lot of people (me included). I don't really care if someone is better than me at basically anything, or even everything. I've met tons of people who are better than me at everything I'm capable of, but I love myself enough that it doesn't bother me when I can't outshine someone in a certain thing, or even seemingly everything. Maybe I'm underestimating the abilities of this anomaly, but I feel like I'd end up bothering it more than the other way around when it couldn't get me to be irritated 😅 or, maybe it would just kill me.. who knows 🤷‍♂️

Seriously though, get help from friends, family, a therapist, a help phone, or something like that. The way I see it, beat her at her own game. Get someone who is the best at being second-best, and she will have to force herself to be worse than this individual to be second best relative to them. Or better yet- someone who is self depreciative to the point of accepting they are inadequate in the first place. This is how to turn this SCP into something useful: Present it with their current knowledge of life extension or the ability to live forever, and it would outdo them and either make a better or perfected version of that. At that point, they take that knowledge and study it and come back with "improvements" and repeat over and over until they have have the formula they need. They can do this with countless technologies, as long as those can't be weaponized against them
