Every time I was in Italy, I always saw them in every hotel 😄 I loved to use them so much and now I actually want to have one myself! I always wash my feet and myself down there in our bathtub when I need to feel cleaner, especially before putting on (new) socks/panties or before going to bed. It's such a good habit to have! Italians are amazing people 👍

The problem for us Italians, on the other hand, is when we travel around the world and we don't find it in hotels, or we live in another country (I for example live here in Germany). It is something we really miss ! Only those who have never known and used it fail to appreciate its convenience, practicality and contribution to personal hygiene. It's kind of like with all things and also with people. If one doesn't know something or someone, one can't appreciate it.

I’ve been using the toilet all these years the wrong way. I was such a caveman. I installed one for a friend and gave it a test run. Have you ever felt your entire universe imploded and then created The Big Bang? That pure, angelic, euphoria? I felt as if I experienced a new level of joy. Japanese bidet is integrated into the toilet seat. No need to relocate our derrière like the Italian bidets. Most Asian and Muslim countries have them too.

Yes that's true but what I found everytime I travelled to countries that use an incorporated toilet/bidet or have the little shower head is that often there's no soap and sometimes even no toilet paper, which practically means splashing your genitals and poopy derrière with water (high pressure water surely cleans)and going about your day. Ideally we prefer to wipe first until the paper appears clean, then to move onto the bidet and wash with soap and water. This bidet also allows you to wash your feet easily when needed. Each to their own 😊
