No one talk about bad things of India in China and no media is advocating anything against India. In India, opposite is true. I believe there are too much internal problem of India so that the politician and intellectual are handling the situation in a proved traditional way. To Godify the leader (Modi is god), to promise an eternal happy life in the future (tell ordinary people India will be the super power in the world without details), and most of all to unify people and divert their attention away from the problem they could not handle. ( in the form of a powerful enemy). This is what I believe directing the behaviors of Indian leaders. But people should take lessons from the history. China's Chairman Mao did this and failed.

As a Vietnamese, I'm hoping that both India and China must settle this (in the grand scheme of things) little border dispute difference! I'm not picking a side, but allow me to make some observations here: 1. China does not want war with India, period. 2. It's more of the India's side that is beating the drum of war, and I suspect the West is encourging this too 3. Modi is just not as honest as Xi, period 4. India mass media is propagandizing this "conflict" to drum up a war, which is never a good thing 5. the dispute terriroty, ultimately, means very little for both China and India 6. India trying to take on China and Pakistan is even worse than the US trying to take on Russia and China 7. in the eyes of the global south nations, they see India as the troublemaker right now, not China 8. China is firmly committed to Russia in an "unlimted partnership" to combat the Western hegemony, and what does Modi do? go kiss Biden. This is not good in the eyes of the global south. 9. Ultimatly, India must remember that, despite their border dispute with China, the biggest raper of India is the Anglos, not the Chinese. India must remember that siding with the Anglos will be seen by the global south as a traitor. India must remember that their energy and raw material needs, it's geography, is deeply tied with the global south, not with America or Europe. It is mindboggling that Modi would lead India down the geopolitical path that he is leading. I'm a Vietnamese and I support all Asian country that stand up to Western hegemony, but as soon as that Asian country conspire with the West, then I'm sorry that is where I will stop. I do not understand why India keeps behaving in a way that does little or nothing to resolve the Border Issue. Since Nehru's agreement with Zhou EngLai on the border issue, India has been consistently renagading on her promises...either by not honouring what has been agreed or distorting the agreement for domestic consumption. Doesn't India realise that if there is this constant huge distraction, she cannot fully focus on her domestic development plans??? Besides she will be manipulated by foreign anti-China forces to create an even bigger dispute between the nations! For example......US has persuaded India to train with US forces around the border region!!! Now how can this be in any way beneficial towards creating an amicable relation with China??? Against such an attitude how does anybody expect China not to react!!!? And so ...the border issue remains a thorn between them.

Couple of questions: 1. How do you know what the Chinese side was/were thinking? 2. How is violation LAC agreement any different from crossing over LAC and occupying area. 3. India also says there should be peaceful relations with China and Pakistan. How is it any different from when Chinese leaders are saying that. 4. Why is Chinese non-acceptance of Cartographic modifications so sacrosanct when the borders themselves are not agreed upon. However I do agree that the Chinese bogey card is overplayed and that its military strategy and equipment is far superior, notwithstanding opinion of experts/analysts.
