But beyond a base Goblin, he stands a chance against a Lex Luthor in his armor. Remember, Lex creates armor made to weaken the likes of Superman, Black Adam, & other krytonitions. Gobling has also created gadgets, weapons, & suits that hes literally used to hurt the likes of Hulk and Thor. Joker is not meant to be a physical powerhouse. He's meant to be an Hannibal Lecter-like mastermind whose insanity makes him an utterly unpredictable and incredibly dangerous criminal. Putting the two in a situation where the Joker is not immediately forced to fight AND he has time to prepare and plan, I can see the Joker actually posing a very serious threat to Green Goblin (with prep Joker has been able to take down stronger opponents), but without it he's just fodder to Osbourne.

This is the first video I have seen from him where the title isn't just clickbait and actually true. This is not much of a fight for obvious reasons. Even if we take movies only. Even if we take the oldest movie versions only. Goblin is still far superior to Joker. Joker is a better villain to me because he doesn't really need an alter ego. He is not being influenced by anything. He is just the Joker. But ability wise Goblin is stronger.

You mostly compared them physically and with joker the reason he is so capable is due to his planning and unpredictability. Joker would avoid getting in a fist fight with green goblin he would put Norman in some impossible situations that make him vulnerable. Norman is insane but in a way his pride makes him prone to mistakes, the only person that has been able to outsmart and do this to Joker is Batman.

Lets not forget that when joker stops being joker and goes sane, he becomes an ordinary person. When norman goes sane hes still incredibly dangerous and evil. He took down the avengers by manipulating some of their greatest villains into helping him and seizing absolute control. The goblin formula only increases his strength and forms a personality where he can act on horrible things without restraint. But when off the formula, hes a cold and calculated sociopath with charisma and a whole corporation, with tools and resources he uses to sneakily take down heroes from within

Joker is the opposite of batman. The reality of it is how much time does joker have to plan? Green Goblin isn't on the same level as Joker as far as strategy. Batman isn't even on the same level of Joker as far as strategy. To truly understand it is to recognize that over 90% of the time, Joker wants and has planned on Batman to win. This is why he is laughing while getting pummeled. Its all part of that plan...perhaps fate. Joker has been characterized (in canon mind you) with super sanity and this is basically putting him up there with characters like Deadpool. So if the Joker is focused on you and has sufficient time to integrate your existence into his super-sanity modeling, you are forever locked into something that you can never get out of and play a part only that Joker knows the outcome of.....assuming he actually knows it or just created it in the subconscious level and waiting for the big reveal as well. Osborn doesn't have this PoV or ability to even think in these terms....even within his own level of insanity. You might as well ask who would win in a fight, a human being or an ape. Sure the ape will be able to rip a human in half, but the human isn't the one captive in the zoo for the amusement of the ape now is he?

Joker is good hand to hand combatant, amazing villian no doubt. But Goblin is much stronger and i would say even better arch enemy to Spidey then Joker to Batman, when Norman strikes and kills someone thats it they dont come back. Goblin is made to torment Spider-Man by Mephisto himself that is much more personal in my opinion. Joker is more complex with his relationship to Bats and i would say he is as intelligent as Batman or Norman, he is genius no doubt. Goblin stomps in combat. Would love to see Goblin vs Batman one day, i think Batman could find a way to beat him, but that would be possibly bigest challenge (not counting Darkside) which Batman faced

Much like Batman, Joker depends on prep time. In a spontaneous fight he MIGHT escape, but he couldn't win. Given prep time, he could discover Nornan's psychological vulnerabilities and find a way to destroy him.

I think there's a few things that make the fight more close: In the Batman Movie, Joker (aka Jack Nicholson) shoots the Batwing down with a single bullet from a revolver (with a stupidly long barrel) while the Batwing was firing on him with missiles and chain-guns. I don't think the Goblin Glider would fair any better. Also, Joker uses a lot more than just poison gas. He has acid that could melt Goblin's suit and most likely the Green Goblin too. Acid he can shoot it from innocent looking things like lapel flowers. He could feign serious injury just so he could get Gobby to come really close to do the villain thing (aka gloat) and the Goblin suddenly becomes the Wicked Witch of the West (I'm meeelllltiiing...). Even his flame-throwing cigarette lighter might be able to do some damage if he gets Goblin in the eyes of his suit.

Depends, Goblin does have very quick reflexes so he’s likely to dodge some of the attacks and hover up, plus he doesn’t even need to get close, Goblin can shoot beams out his damn hands.

And while yes Joker is fast Goblin is faster and his variety of weapons could also help, sure Joker could dodge a beam or two, but multiple of them along with dropping thousands of bombs to the point Hiroshima gets jealous? I’d think that be a bit much.
