But beyond a base Goblin, he stands a chance against a Lex Luthor in his armor. Remember, Lex creates armor made to weaken the likes of Superman, Black Adam, & other krytonitions. Gobling has also created gadgets, weapons, & suits that hes literally used to hurt the likes of Hulk and Thor. (And Remember the only way superman beats hulk is by letting the beast beat him to a pulp so he'll calm down) But...Goblin has no weaknesses. I don't think this is as clear as DanCo is making it seem like. The green goblin is strong and smart and all that but the joker has been proven to be just as smart as batman and with enough prep time i believe that the joker could outsmart the goblin and potentially win the fight through trickery. Strength wouldn't be a factor if the Joker was given the tine to get to know the goblin.

If it's a fair straight forward one on one Then green goblin But in comics Winning a fight isn't always about being more powerful I mean take the Joker himself as an example He was able to mind control the entire justice league That's very impressive Simply put Joker wins

I think there's a few things that make the fight more close: In the Batman Movie, Joker (aka Jack Nicholson) shoots the Batwing down with a single bullet from a revolver (with a stupidly long barrel) while the Batwing was firing on him with missiles and chain-guns. I don't think the Goblin Glider would fair any better. Also, Joker uses a lot more than just poison gas. He has acid that could melt Goblin's suit and most likely the Green Goblin too. Acid he can shoot it from innocent looking things like lapel flowers. He could feign serious injury just so he could get Gobby to come really close to do the villain thing (aka gloat) and the Goblin suddenly becomes the Wicked Witch of the West (I'm meeelllltiiing...). Even his flame-throwing cigarette lighter might be able to do some damage if he gets Goblin in the eyes of his suit.

Depends, Goblin does have very quick reflexes so he’s likely to dodge some of the attacks and hover up, plus he doesn’t even need to get close, Goblin can shoot beams out his damn hands.

@@Kingsaxxy3872 The Joker is no stranger to dodging beam attacks, and he is quite proficient with firearms. He usually carries a few just in case. Like I mentioned, he downed the batwing with just a single bullet which I doubt was anything larger than a .44 magnum.

@@neorenamon I don’t think he’s really done that in comics tho, Jack’s did for a joke but I don’t think Joker has actually done that unless he’s got a rocket launcher or something. And while yes Joker is fast Goblin is faster and his variety of weapons could also help, sure Joker could dodge a beam or two, but multiple of them along with dropping thousands of bombs to the point Hiroshima gets jealous? I’d think that be a bit much.

The only way Joker has a chance is if he prepares a trap for the Goblin without him realising, same way he often does for Batman. However, the two of them going head to head on a balanced ground means Goblin wins 99.99%.

You mostly compared them physically and with joker the reason he is so capable is due to his planning and unpredictability. Joker would avoid getting in a fist fight with green goblin he would put Norman in some impossible situations that make him vulnerable. Norman is insane but in a way his pride makes him prone to mistakes, the only person that has been able to outsmart and do this to Joker is Batman.

The Joker’s unpredictable. That’s his primary asset in a fight. Meanwhile, Green Goblin is also unpredictable, has a world class intellect, is armed with a ton of lethal armaments and has superhuman strength/durability. Forget Joker winning, he’d be lucky just to survive this encounter.

Lets not forget that when joker stops being joker and goes sane, he becomes an ordinary person. When norman goes sane hes still incredibly dangerous and evil. He took down the avengers by manipulating some of their greatest villains into helping him and seizing absolute control. The goblin formula only increases his strength and forms a personality where he can act on horrible things without restraint. But when off the formula, hes a cold and calculated sociopath with charisma and a whole corporation, with tools and resources he uses to sneakily take down heroes from within

Green goblin is the exact same tho read literally any Spider-Man comic and you’ll see how what type of timing he’s on. He’s often misunderstood for the same reasons as joker because they’re both in a silly get up but ultimately both are formidable foes with normal essential being a super abled joker who’s mentally and physically superior while retaining more of his sanity (for whatever that’s worth)
