In a recent discussion with Jordan Peterson about the Bible, Dennis Prager made some shocking claims about Judaism's view on lust and p*rn. Here is an authentic Jewish and Biblical perspective on why lust and p*rn are probably even more dangerous than you think. ‪@RuslanKD‬ ‪@DailyDisciple‬ ‪@TheCounselofTrent‬ ‪@TheBibleisArt‬ ‪@FaithTalks‬ ‪@whaddoyoumeme‬

Realized the Hews who are unbaptized and are by their very nature Antichrist. The world-leading marketers of porn. Fact is that use in the modern Jews have a long history of embracing sexual sexual sin. Jesus Christ himself said if you look at a with lust in your eye sin against 6th commandment. Where do the Hews get off thinking they're not going to go to hell for mortal sin. Objectively speaking I can tell you Dennis Prager is already punched his ticket for hell. Jeopardy speaking it doesn't care whether he believes it or not. Jesus and God the father and the Holy Ghost have spoken. And when his soul goes directly before Jesus he will find out the only one doing any talking is Jesus not him.

I want you to type in talmud and sexual relations with children. I want you to type in talmud version or understanding of Jesus and the Virgin birth. I want you to type in talmud and loaning money with interest towards gentiles but not towards fellow Jews. I don't think most people think this way these days but the point is talmud is talk much more in Hebrew school compared to Torah. Don't turn a blind eye because the talmud says Jesus is a bastard and mother Mary was impregnated by a Roman centurion. The talmud teaches Jesus was practicing sorcery and witchcraft and it did not come from the Creator. So people can cherry-pick pieces of the talmud and some people can say I'm cherry-picking but I'm also asking anyone to go double check and see if I'm lying when I say it's in the talmud. I don't even use a capital t. I don't dislike Jewish people because that's me and I'm no self-hating. At the same time, I'm not going to deny ridings within talmud and teachings till this day with in Hebrew school. I've asked rabbi to answer if talmud ever teaches that it's fine for a Jew to have sexual relations with a child. I get no answer. The talmud teaches this.

@@robertpatterson9943that isn't true at all... you believe in lies and fairytales. I bet you believe in jesus. And not even aware that you are deep in idolatry. You have no clue. God is against human sacrifice. And the prophets of the Old testament said that it is an abomination to God to have the innocent and the righteous die for the sins of the wicked. And also God promised that the true Messiah would bring eternal peace to the world. But jesus spoke against the promises of God. Because jesus said do not think that I have come to bring peace. So he definitely cannot be the true Messiah. I bet you are just gonna shrug this off..and not even look it up and investigate for yourself. Because Christianity has dummed you down

This is something that should be better understood by Christians, as well. Too many of us fail to appreciate the difference between having a desire, entertaining that desire, and acting on that desire. God's commands are an attempt to protect us from ourselves, because He knows that entertaining a desire, dwelling on it in thought, always comes before acting on it. Better that more people should be stopped before ever entertaining it. Bless you, Rabbi.

Prager said: “I know this is not a religious answer. I’m not even giving a religious answer. I’m giving what I think is a moral and realistic answer.” He is obviously aware of the religious position presented here and is using the moral framework the rabbi began by agreeing with, and was trying to weigh potential harms, in a charitable way without encouraging porn per se. I think many here should listen to what he said more carefully instead. Of course, we are also free to not take his advice.

Thanks for the excellent information. I think fantasies about doing something wrong can definitely lead to harm to the self and others. I’ve seen it happen. The inside of a person, like any container, can only hold so much before it spills over to the outside, and many things are too corrosive to keep contained.

As a Christian, I am very happy to see and hear your video on this as the answer Dennis Prager gave shocked me. I love watching Dennis Prager on his show with his dog Otto. I hope you or one of your brethren will reach out to Dennis to clear this up for him. I know for a fact that viewing pornography is not only addicting, but the more your brain gives you the dopamine high with the porn, the more you crave and you will start down a path of degenerate watching and the things you watch or desire to see will get worse and worse. I won't go into details, I'm petty sure everyone knows about that. I just want to say you have given me relief with your rebuke of his attitude toward this sin. I hope you reach out to him because if this is what he's telling husbands and wives, this is ruining marriages and hurting people. I can't imagine why he would say this type of thing unless he himself has an addiction that he can't overcome. Also I am very glad you explained the difference between having a thought pop up in your head, or indulging in that thought. It took awhile for me to become aware of this but now when a thought pops up that is unwanted I rebuke it in the name of God and forsake it immediately and it goes away. Sometimes you need to focus on something different to make it go away, depending on if you are at rest or busy doing something. It takes awhile too, sometimes to become aware of when the thought pops up. The Spirit of God helps you with this process. It is always best to read your scripture every day.

If Prager studied the Prophets and Proverbs, he would see how important attitudes are. "Can a man carry fire in his bosom and not be burned" in Proverbs. And look at Job, "I have made a covenant with my eyes not to look upon a maid.". The problem is that his father took a weak stance against temptation. If Dennis questioned his father's moral judgment, he would probably face a lot of inner turmoil.

How about looking with indifference, whilst furiously masturbating, like Dennis Prager does?? ... I'm only half joking, point is, it's hard to tell how exactly anyone's looking, feeling, and so on... => That is, from an outsider's perspective, all we can say is that Dennis looks and masturbates.

Jews aren't 'religious' either. Having a relationship with G-d is just that. Yes, He gave us a lot of information about Himself that we study and study, to get even closer to Him. Where's the 'religiosity' in that?

Dennis Prager doesn’t understand that Pornography can change the intimate dynamics between partners. It can actually become an addiction and the user eventually can become unable to engage sexually with his partner. Sad that he doesn’t understand this very common occurrence.

Porn is, at least, coveting a forbidden relationship, though the vividness of experience makes it nearly indistinguishable from actual hookups. I like what you said elsewhere "the ONLY healthy male expression of sexuality is in response to a female's desire" and obviously only when that female desire is in the context of a permissible relationship, otherwise we do need to suppress our desires and not allow them to foster even if you are married and the desire is for her.

Jesus said it you hate your brother without cause you've committed murder in your heart. Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. What ever is in your heart is what drives a person. Dennis is way off on this point. And I do agree with your opinion on the importance of the inner man.

Good upload. When I heard Dennis' claims I immediately thought, "Yeah, bullcrap. That's not even slightly a statement held from a Jewish tradition." His stance was so weird how he explained it because it didn't make sense even within the confines of the 10 Commandments, the writings of the prophets, nor the 613 Mitzvot. There's just nowhere where his stance holds water in Judaism.

@@bobbynelson5849there are quite a lot of mistranslations of words. Even the names of the Five Books of the Torah are not accurate. It's all very different. Not going line by line to "prove" it. The Torah is not a 'bible'. Sometimes rabbis use the word though for a "mixed" audience. "Torah" means to guide, to teach, meaning G-d to us. 'Bible' means "book". Could be "any" book. The original Torah was recorded on scrolls as we still use them, not in book form. For ease of use for the home, and carrying it around, it's a book.
