2023-2024 has really shown who of the 2021 class will sink or swim. Yeat, Ken and Lone are the only ones whos fanbases have gone mainstream. Rino Autumn Jace and Faygo all still have strong core fanbases that you could argue are mainstream, but their window to go to the next level feels like it’s passed. The underground scene will always have fans but none of the new class will be able to reach Yeat and Ken’s level organically.

i do think the test will be the next 2 projects for ken, yeat got to the highest point he can get to with this sub genre and since he’s had to change the sound because it got repetitive and boring (look at polo g best example) ken has grown slower but we’re not over that sound yet, if his next 2 projects have the same vibe he could see a decline.
