Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary is overrated. Let’s uncover the questionable business practices and financial missteps of the self-proclaimed "Mister Wonderful" as we explore his journey from television production to high-stakes investment deals.
From a multi-million dollar acquisition that led to a colossal financial disaster to accusations of promoting crypto in exchange for a hefty sum, O'Leary's track record raises serious questions about his credibility as a business guru.

If you wanted to be honest, accurate, and helpful, instead of harmful to innocent and helpless children, alike has been done for generations and continues to this very second, you would address the scam that this entire so-called way of life is and you would work to stop the severely harmed and corrupted majority from inflicting this scam onto innocent and helpless children who equally, like all, didn't choose to exist in the first place either nor consented to being used and abused and for some tortured and worse because the majority, including all so-called authorities, are just that bad. Well?

That's what's great about it. Might as well stop watching every movie or TV. But let's admit, he's the best on the show unless you are sensitive. He actually asks the best questions for the Sharks. He thinks of hard hitting questions that the other Sharks don't think of. So he does best for the Sharks which majorly includes the money that will be involved when they invest. But nobody thinks of that, because they are not entrepreneurs or have the desire to ever be one so they just think hes just a mean guy, but little do they know he is the best sidekick for each Shark, or they are his best sidekick

I worked for several storied consumer software companies. It was well known that KO's modus operandi was to acquire a company, and then immediately layoff all the employees that created the content and built the brands. He would hire low cost outsourcing companies to whip up crappy version upgrades that were lousy money grabs. Rumors were rampant at the time that he was cooking his books, and people were aghast at the Mattel deal. He ruined companies and brands, and this was well known. I've been telling people this story since Shark Tank became popular, and I have yet to find someone who had any knowledge of his history.

I just always found it weird that such a wealthy and successful businessman was on Cameo. People suspected it was so that he could make deals to promote shady companies while dodging any responsibility. So, if an obvious pyramid scheme used a clip of him saying "I love this company, I believe in them, and you should believe in them too," he could say "I just read the script they paid ne to read," if they ever got into legal trouble. If he had to read out a few birthday messages and earned a few thousand dollars from that to make those kinds of deaks, that was a price he was willing to pay.

I think there should be a general warning flag called the 'showbiz factor' when the pitchman just seem too talkative and watchable. I think most people instinctively sense when they are being conned and then they override the instinct because of their yearning for a quick buck. I want to read more about Mattel, which presumably had well-educated financial executives and accountants to study the deal - yet they still got burned. As for crypto, the product itself is the red flag so it is hard to pin this on O'Leary specifically. Like tulip bulbs, crypto has is moments when it is going up. Kevin O'Leary isn't unique, he is like most people that gain astounding amounts of wealth. Mark Cuban is the same, his software company was sold off right before it became worthless, and he profited over $200 million. This is what he used to purchase the Mavericks.

Musk is just as bad or worse. Look at his history that got him where he is. His claims go well beyond that of O'Leary's. He bought Twitter, which had a great name that had meaning to people and changed it to "X", which means what? Nothing. The value of the company was in the name recognition. Now X is worth a fraction of the $44 billion that he paid, according to him. From Fortune: According to Elon Musk’s own math, the company formerly known as Twitter has lost 90% of its value and could be worth just $4 billion.

I know all about this, for years. Here's the stupid part. O'Leary did not even get seriously rich. A few $million not big money. Contrast that with Vivek Ramaswamy, who also created worthless companies. However Vivek is rich, maybe even a Billionaire. O'Leary isn't even smart enough to enrich himself. Minor League. Cheers from Canada

In the 20 years I spent in corporate America, 10 in management, I saw so many of these guys. They would come in having fast talked their way into some senior position promising the world, would instigate a ton of change having no idea how to actually build or run anything, and 2 years later move on to the next place with their new resume items in place, leaving wreckage behind them. Unfortunately most of them never get their due and it is frustrating.

Great video. I always thought Kevin was a grifter. Yes i also hated him on shark tank back in 2011 and then read all about his failed companies. He said for years crypto was shit. Okay fine everyone get to have their own opinion. But as soon as he was offered 10 million to promote ftx he changed his script real quick. In 2009 when tech stocks were low he was all over cnbc tv pumping his high dividend paying bonds. Yet in 2021 he was buying fb stock only after it ran up huge. Then he sold during the sell off at a big loss. Now its back up even more. All those funds he manages must under perform a ton. But he doesn't even care cause he earns a high management fee for taking everyone money.

Also way before ftx a few youtubers called him out for doing cameo. A few of early coffeezilla videos he exposed grifters and they had commercials made by Kevin. For $1500 he will read any script for 30 seconds. Then you throw than into a facebook ad lol

I never knew much about the guy apart from shark tank. But I saw an interview with him a few years ago. Talking about if anyone had money he would invest it in Saudi Arabia. I thought this guy has absolutely no idea what he is talking about. Only because I had actually worked in Saudi Arabia and although I had a great experience and think the people are great. Investing there would not be a good idea.
