dude job gaps are a joke. specially within 9months. because in canada unemployment lasts that long. so to live life, you can last that long. but companies see that as red flag. bunch of bs. i got interviews with same company twice. once as steady employed, and once as honest unemployed. the time i said i was employed got me the job offer. and this was multiple times.

@PhilLesh693 жыл бұрын
@@asadb1990 I actually think anyone who talks about "job gaps" is either gaslighting or being gaslit. I lost a job at a news publishing company in 2007. I had enough money to live off of my own savings without unemployment or any kind of assistance for well over 18 months and so I took that time to take a shot at another business. After about 9 months I decided to give up on that idea, it wasn't quite as fantastic as I had hoped. But in the meantime a family member had a fourth recurrence of a late stage cancer and I ended up spending the next 18 months providing end of life care assistance for them. So now I'm 36 months out from my last W2 official employment. oh noz. Even my own family will gaslight me from time to time about my "long job gap", even though they were too busy to even stop in at the hospital for months on end and relied on the fact that I was there 12 hours a day every day for over twelve solid months. Because now it's a way to use something against me. It's all BS. I consider this no different from discounting women applicants on the basis that "women get pregnant and want to leave the job market to take care of their kids" (or even worse how they're getting even more twisted about that in regards to same-sex parents.) It's a gaslight. People have all kinds of reasons for not being employed at any given time. These folks want to penalize you for *truancy* _from work,_ if you really listen closely to them. Or maybe it's jealousy? Maybe they resent you for being able to do something they could only dream of? Take over a year off from work? Lose ground? How can anyone do that?

Companies want good slaves who are married/have kids. After about 20 years working, I'll tell young people you should not have any loyalty to any organization, they will turn on you in a second when its convenient and fire/replace you. Also to ensure no slavery, young people dont get married and dont get a girl pregnant, make sure she takes the birth control pill daily in front of you and both wear protection. You will just condemn your new child to increasing poverty and freedomless slavery and these control/money/job trends worsen. Promote this idea in videos and social media to help prevent more young people into this new slavery.

As someone who works in one of the big social media companies, your account was most likely taken down under a policy that many call "inauthentic behaviour" or "account misrepresentation". Even though you were making a point, many sites, in particular Facebook and Instagram (Not Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, or Twitter), require a *real* person's profile. As you were publically LARPing as someone with inauthentic behaviour, your account was most likely taken down under that policy. Not saying they are right, just providing clarity into what most likely happened with internal conversations. Personally, I think, you've done a great service to the entire job-hunting community because you've proved how much shit is on these sites.
@ismith80533 жыл бұрын
The biggest offender in "inauthentic behaviour" is Linkedin itself. It bans eminent scientists and those who provide links to their work. I mean mainstream, world renowned ones. Not conspiracy nuts. I had the “You know what you did” line in an annual performance review once. They said I caused problems for a few other people I worked with but wouldn’t tell me who they were or what I had supposedly done to them, they just gave me that line instead. Later on I found out that same person was $hit talking me to other people too. I left not too long after that.

Your right adding too much information can be detrimental in your job search, especially if your over 40. Companies don't like old people. They want shiny new people right out of College, without a thought in their head. I hope they hire a lot of woke employees, they deserve them.

i literally put a random company as my previous employer that i got rejected from lol. got the first real job and knew absolutely nothing. but kept on playing the game. thought finally i don't have to lie anymore. wrong, need to lie as much as reasonably possibly to land job.

My theory why they banned him is "corporate simps" are the modern equivalent of "canon fodder". LinkedIn is a platform that promotes the corporate image, and he's clearly a threat to the status quo.

you're missing main point - LinkedIn makes money - by matching all our data with credit bureau to assess the Financial earnings- and sell that data with Insurance companies, Digital marketing companies, crypto currencies and other tech companies do promote financial cyber theft.
