There is a big chance he used black magic to channel a demons power letting the demon use him as a vessel for its power, un permanent version of devil fruits. And Saturn is now being possessed or letting lose the demons power. After he got angry about Van Agur's statement that they want the world. Just like you cant let your emotion distract you while using observation haki. You cant lose focus while channeling a demons or spirits power, else they might take over.

The inversion of humans becoming devils and devils becoming humans (DF eaters vs Gorosei) is so wild to me. It’s playing with the ideas of monster point chopper (an animal gaining “human” powers?) and the jailers in imple down (humans becoming animals? Losing themselves to their awakening.) Perhaps the illusion of humanity (visibly and verbally) that the Gorosei “put on” is what makes them so relatable and understandable from a readers perspective, because they have assumed our image. So the predatory nature of Saturn and his eyes really speaks to a more primal instinct a literal devil may have, wearing human clothes. We can’t relate to him in this chapter because there is no semblance of humanity, only his.. its essence. I also saw a post about how the blood and head snap of Kizaru when he was grabbed by gear 5 lines up perfectly with Saturns gaze and eye attack. Almost as if Saturn views Kizaru as a liability. Which would be a dope way to see him flip sides when even his boss is trying to kill him.

Kizaru didn’t kill Vegapunk. He cauterized the wound so he could survive, similar to what Kuzan did for Saul on Ohara. The stab perfectly matched the wound from Saturn.

It really didn't though, the wound Saturn gave him is on the upper left near the heart while the wound Kizaru gives is much lower around the stomach. Plus, there's a panel of a heart monitor flatlining right before the transmission starts, and it wouldn't make much sense if that monitor was for anyone but Vegapunk given that a whole panel was dedicated to it so it must be somehow important and there aren't any important that is currently dying

The hero getting an insane power-up (and getting help from friends and allies in times of needs), is a recurrent theme in Shonen, not only in Dragonball and Naruto... So, it is not really a surprise to see the hero or MC of OP reaching that level of power at this point of the story...

We Already Know What The Message Is Chapter 1108 ended on a big note with Vegapunk announcing that he will reveal “the truth of this world” to everyone in it, and this understandably got a lot of people excited. Maybe a bit too excited... I say this because I’ve seen a lot of people assume that we are finally getting a flashback or revelation of what happened during the Void Century. I want everyone to temper their expectations because I do not think this is going to happen. Remember: Vegapunk only read SOME of the books from Ohara, not Poneglyphs, and everything he knows about Void Century is ONLY A THEORY! While Vegapunk clearly has knowledge of and has studied the poneglyphs, he still has no idea what is on them as he cannot read the text. It’s also far too early (ironic, I know) for us to learn the secrets of the Void century, as I believe Oda has reserved that for a flashback we are going to see once we learn what the actual treasure of One Piece is. After all, Rayleigh himself has said that they (the Roger Pirates) learned all about the Void Century once they found the great treasure. What I think the message Vegapunk is going to share with the world is something Egghead Arc has delved into even before it started, from Wano Arc itself, and it’s the existence of... Sun God Nika. This entire arc is incessantly going on and on about Nika: Kuma’s life revolves around his belief in Nika, a great savior of slaves everywhere, and Kuma’s attempt to emulate him. Thanks to Kuma, Bonney’s life also heavily revolves around Nika, as she has been searching for him ever since she set out to see him, and in searching for him, she was looking for a reason to believe in him, which she just recently got. She has finally found her and her dad’s savior. Saturn, the main arc villain, fears Nika and his powers as he is seemingly sworn enemy of the gods (Celestial Dragons). The Gorosei are desperate to keep his existence a secret, going so far as to attempt to hide Luffy’s Gear 5 appearance on his Wanted poster (which they failed to do). The Giants arrived on Egghead because Luffy, who they know is Nika, is there. Luffy’s Gear 5th was brought into question literally two chapters into the arc when Bonney brought up that he doesn’t look like his wanted poster. He has been overusing Gear 5th in so far every fight on Egghead: against Lucci, against Kizaru, and against Saturn. And then there is Vegapunk, who clearly knows about the Sun God Nika and, much like Bonney, made that connection (more of a confirmation) once he saw Luffy in action. So, I’m pretty confident that what Vegapunk is going to reveal to the world are the injustices perpetuated by the World Government (which includes the name of the Ancient Kingdom) and the man meant to correct them. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that Luffy went giant just as the Giants of Elbaf, who are aware of him being Nika, came to the island and are currently headed towards his location. We just might get confirmation that the previous Joyboy was a giant, something theorized ever since we saw the Giant Straw Hat on Marijoas, as we learn more about him from Vegapunk, tying it all together with what is happening on the screen: Giant Luffy fighting alongside Giants. However… This is all that there is to it. We, the readers, are already well aware of how awful the Navy and the World Government are. This is neither any new information for us nor something that we would have trouble believing in, as we have seen what the Navy and WG do. How is Vegapunk going to convince your average One Piece Joe that what he is saying is true, and what new information is he going to reveal to us (the readers)? And the answer is rather simple: Kuma. The word used to describe the great incident on Egghead Island includes "shock," which is the same in both the English and Japanese versions. In Chapter 1078, you can see that the kanji used for “shock” in one of the panels is the same as the one used in “Ursus Shock," Kuma’s attack. Even in the latest chapter (1108), Vegapunk plays the pun game again, mentioning both “Bear (with me)” and “Shock”; “Bear Shock." “Ursus” is Latin for bear. It’s “Ursus Shock.” This isn’t an original theory, but it seems like it’s the correct one. It seems like Vegapunk will use the power of Kuma’s Devil Fruit to help convince people around the world that what he is saying is indeed true by showing them what kind of people they are. As for what new piece of information we, the readers, are going to learn, in addition to the aforementioned Nika Lore, I’ll just leave this Q&A from SBS Volume 48 (Dokusha means Reader and O means Oda): D: Excuse me!! May I pose a serious question to the typically-vulgar SBS?? In Volume 46, Usopp said that the same power doesn't exist twice. But this doesn't make sense with what you said in the Volume 45 SBS... If the Gomu Gomu no Mi was in a book of fruits, then Luffy HAD to have eaten at least the SECOND known example of the fruit! Now, most beautiful and intelligent Ei-chan, explain it all! ✩ P.N. Takafi O: Very sharp of you. But I'm cool. I haven't made any mistakes. As a hint, let me rephrase what Usopp is saying. "The same powers don't exist twice AT THE SAME TIME." How's that? For more detail, you'll just have to wait for a certain professor to make his appearance in the story and explain exactly what the Devil Fruits REALLY are... eventually. TL;DR Vegapunk is going to use his Internet in combination with the power of Kuma’s Paw Paw Fruit to show the inhabitants of One Piece World the true nature of the Navy and World Government and the horrible crimes they committed, while we, the readers, are going to learn about Sun God Nika and the origin of Devil Fruits. Why exactly? You will have to read the whole post.

I would like to see more from Saturn and my thought is that he will stab Kizaru and absorb the latter's life force, which will strengthen him. That might help him to fight Luffy. the whole chapter reminded me of Star Wars: on the front page there are dogs that look like chewbacca. and the moment Kizaru killed Vegapunk with his light sword reminded me of Ben Solo killing his father. and one of the panel after, it looks like he has a tear on his face. I had the same feeling that Kizaru didnt even try to defend himself when Luffy grabbed him, cause he was in emotional pain. Like in Star Wars he is between those 2 sites, and finally resolve his inner conflict he needed to kill Vegapunk - to become part of the darkness and to prove himself to the world government.

I have a theory about the Gorosei. My theory is that the 5 Gorosei don't actually have any fruit powers themselves but rather they're actually drawing power from Imu themself, their forms (Atleast the only one we've seen) look like demons and I'm fairly certain that it's a byproduct of Imu's possible Hito-Hito no mi model: Demon.

honestly, i feel like kizaru has been on vegapunks side since he appeared. He's had more than ample time to kill or cause problems, such as killing bonney when she was in the robot that he cut in half, but he has instead just been causing chaos and giving the strawhats and vegapunk time to respond. Most notably, the only legitimate damage that he's done has been vs vegapunk stella, and even that is a bit debatable. Theory: Saturn has the ability to swap with the devil that inhabits his devilfruit (Think Yugi/Atem, Ichigo/Hollow Ichigo etc.). Additional theory: Lufy's next "power up" will be him finally being able to "hear" Joyboy who inhabits his fruit and will be able to swap freely with him (like a duo-partner sort of thing). Additional theory2: Sanji has incredible Observation Haki so he can sense that Saturn is no longer in control of the body and has swapped with the "Devil" of said Fruit
