Dude. Mac is so solid. I wonder if he does Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) PAILs and RAILs and Kinestretch. His explosiveness is baller!!

Love the video. But if I could be so bold to add one thing. It would be that Mac developed foot skills and coordination to be able to use the skills you talked about at the same time and in different spaces.

Great analysis, Justumari. The common denominator I glean from all your analysis is speed plus weight. Sprints, weighted hops, low rep squats or low rep, progressive heaviest weight possible leg press (of course, accounting for tendon health, so as not to injure yourself and experience lengthy setbacks). Can you explain how you feel med ball back throws contributes to his incredible hops? To me, this is an exercise for the core and back. I'm not seeing how this translates into increased vertical jump. Great video and analysis!

@@stevec2433 I like med high throws can be a pretty solid way to bridge speed and strength training aka power, you can develop solid power through triple extension, Will transfer to two foot bounce a lot

What's you taught on Zion Williamson, they always talking about his weight (not sure what's B/F %) but he jump pretty high. What make him different with high weight?

I’m a 6 ft white guy , freshman year of high school I could stand under the hoop and vertical jump and dunk both hands , the key is being fast and having elasticity I think . I was super fast my whole life . White boys do have hops Oh I was about 5”8 freshman year …

hi i’ve been watching a lot of your videos. i’m 6’4 265 and 16 and i can’t touch the rim I have recently started hitting the gym i’m wondering wether i can skip on squat with leg press and leg extensions and other lower body machines. i’m also wondering wether i should cut or go for the zion build of strength over speed i’m 35% body fat.
@justjumari2 жыл бұрын
Lol Zion isn’t strength over speed. He’s very low body fat, probably under 15% . You got a lot of weight to loose so figure that out with mind pump calorie lost calculator and get after it in a healthy way!

@@justjumari 😂 thanks for the advice. is leg press and some other machine work a suitable substitute for the squat. it just feels so unnatural to squat for me. what are your thoughts?
