The covenant didn't want the titanium on Reach. They had no use for it since the discovery of Nanolaminate, and especially didn't need it considering how worthless it was against plasma. as far as the covenant was concerned, titanium was about as useful to them as our helium powered blimp back in 1937 (colossal failure) Also, while yes at the time Reach was extremely important to the human race and was largely important because of it's abundance in titanium, it wasn't the second most important planet as a whole. Harvest held that crown by twice the amount before the glassing. In the end Reach was mostly important because it was where the Spartan-II program took place and because it had an uncanny resemblance to Earth in terms of environment and atmosphere.

Shadows of reach is a good companion book to this that also has some cool post glassing reach lore, taking place right before halo infinite's campaign begins, it's about chief and blue team returning to Halseys castle base office and they end up helping the reach rehabilitation militia fight the banished off of reach.

I personally prefer Noble 6 dead. It is a perfect fit for him given his past history of being a lone wolf and choosing to do so because he didn’t want to get emotionally attached to a team just for them to die like what happened before. With Noble Team’s death and after spending time with him, he found himself caring enough to carry on their legacy and take the gun as Emile and the rest would have wanted. He knew he’d die as alone as he lived, but he did it for that sliver of hope, that slight chance that the Pillar of Autumn might make it. And it did. So, let the man rest. He is dead, and his end was a redemption parallel to none.

Halo Reach 2 ! People talk a lot about a Halo Reach 2. I think that's stupid , instead they should make a Halo: Onyx game with the same spartan 3 system we have in Halo Reach where the villains are classic covenant again, with classic covenant vehicles and weapons, and classic forerunners. Where it still has that Halo Reach feel as everything is coming to an end either way , if you know the story of Onyx that is based on the book Halo Ghosts of Onyx, a sorta spartan 3 sequel to Halo: Reach And for those who say Noble 6 is alive, sorry NO he's dead! He's never coming back and never meeting Chief and the ONLY way he can be alive is through this game. Nevertheless, Instead what is possible and way cooler of an idea in the future is Chief with blue team reuniting with Jerome and red team!!!! Hell yea!

Klixzy Visuals the book gives you good insight on the Spartan mind and tells the story from Fred’s view and Chiefs view. Fred gets sent down to Reach and Chief goes to a covenant ship. It switches in between POV’s every few chapters so it might be confusing at times.
