I do think it's worth mentioning that Mega Alakazam really was never banned anywhere until the Gen 7 to Gen 8 transition. There was even a time during Gen 7 when a few leagues called it a tier 2 mega (and Mat rode that to a championship I think)

Yo love this type of discussion for draft, there’s plenty of similar discussion for competitive ladder/vgc but draft is usually too niche for content creators to get into. Really excited to see what sort of stuff will keep comin from this man🔥 Edit: I’ll just give a personal suggestion in zama-h and/or zama-c, since its a very nuanced debate for the both of them in draft

If we're talking Natdex, what are your fav draft pairings for Mega Zam? What comes to mind for me is Indeedee and then one of Alolamuk/Drapion

Crazy that it took till Gen 7 for people to realize how dumb Mega Zam is. Reminds me of people optimizing Magic Guard and Arena Trap in Gen 6/7, and then retroactivly working that into older gens

Mega mence isn’t really one of those borderline mons you see allowed some places. Mega mence is one of the best Pokémon in nat dex Ubers draft much less the standard format haha
