Hey, great production quality on this video, I thought this was done by someone with at least some thousands of subscribers based on this quality. I think this channel will be pretty successful! Sad to see the state of the animation industry - I love animation in all its forms cause it's so creative, I hope we can recover.

Some valid points, but some I feel are less about would audiences embrace them, or would the execs just demand it be more like everything else out there (longer runtime, bigger more elaborate ending--fun fact: Barry Sonnenfeld actually had to beg for the budget to do the ending in the movie, which was not the original one from the script). I do think the movie benefited from being a new IP that was really clever and slickly designed. But I've always said we got one good movie out of the franchise and the animated series did the concept better.

@@mattmozgiel2111 yeah I was thinking of this more from the studio’s POV for how they wouldn’t allow that 3rd act to be so small but I do think audiences would be too just because they’re so used to massive third act set pieces. I think they could still welcome it, but since modern audiences always pick movies apart, I feel like they would feel robbed. And I really liked the third movie. The second I understand but I do know they had to go through massive reshoots because of 9/11. I haven’t been able to find any details about it but I’m sure all the clues in the second movie pointed towards the twin towers and they’re actually spaceships.
