@the detail. Hi, I LOVE LOVE LOVE Your VIDEOS, However, I'm a Witness myself and I have to say There are a lot of inaccuracies in this particular video That are not to the same standard of quality and accuracy as usual. Michael was never "Controlled " or "Forced" out of being a Jehovah's Witness, he CHOSE TO LEAVE temporarily. Jehovah's Witnesses don't try to "Control" anyone, to do so would be unscriptual Only God has the right to tell us what to do And he is the one we all ultimately answer to. Roman's 14:12 "So, then, each of us will render an account for himself to God" One thing many people do not know is that michael actually returned to being a Jehovah's Witness in his later years before his death in the 2000s That's why his cousin Wendell who was an elder was able to give a Smaller memorial ceremony before the public one And why he said he Was glad His life was Connected with Jehovah's Because it meant the resurrection hope which Michael believed in also. Michael certainly never thought they were "Controlling" or "forcing " If You notice, Michael never spoke bad about his experience of being one of Jehovah's Witnesses even in his time before he returned, In fact he only spoke positive about it in all of his interviews, Like the ones where he gave a speech of oxford university, or with Maurie povich, or Geraldo Rivera, or in the 2001 TV Guide magazine Where he talks about his current activity As being one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Lastly, don't forget Michael wanted and DID( when he was alive ) raise his children as Jehovah's Witnesses. Do you really think a parent as loving and gentle as MICHAEL JACKSON who Ironically, Had arguably THE MOST Domineering, controlling, Forceful, Parent imaginable in Joe Jackson Would return to and want HIS CHILDREN to be raised in a religion if it were really as "Controlling" and "Forceful" As some people with an Innaccurate knowledge might say?

As a believer of Christ and huge Michael Jackson fan the biggest thing I struggle with is understanding we cannot ‘idolize’ people that are not Jesus. To me Michael is my hero and I am fascinated by so many things he did and his life but I have to separate that from the adulation I have in my spiritual life and to God.

I always wonder why Jesus gets an exception when he’s no more or less of human being. I was told not to idolize Mike growing up. But I’m still holding tight that Mike was as close to Jesus in terms of his impact overall on the world. But a Christ believer would consider this bad. That’s idolizing Jesus imo Vs seeing his true purpose. Every human has their purpose, including Jesus. He did what so many others have been brought on this earth to do. I don’t see him above anyone else. So to me Mike is right up there with him.

What you can do is to pray for Michael's children and family and even your fellow fans. We are instructed to love one another, so the love you feel for others is a natural outpouring of the Love you are constantly partaking of via the Holy Spirit. You do not have to put "Jesus first," because He is more than first. He is *central.* And so therefore that love will be expressed towards others, just as God intended. Well, just remember that you must keep the sabbath, break bread and receieve it as the body of Christ, be baptized and so on. Btw, in the Acts of the Apostles you can see that the Church of Christ is institutionalized headed by Peter and James sending apostles to spread the Gospel. They also had fixed ceremonies which have been kept to this day in the Orthodox and Catholic Churches. Jesus also said to His disciples "take the holy spirit. He will teach you everything". Jesus also said that He didnt teach His students everything, only what they needed to know for the time being. Thats why He sent the Holy Spirit who is supposed to lead us and teach us everything. Which means the Bible is not enough and we were given the holy spirit to be able to learn more. Nevertheless we have to keep an eye out for false prophets.

YES! Thedetail getting into that nitty-gritty. Michael's spiritual beliefs underpin his message & legacy to the world. But there was ALWAYS a conflict between Michael Jackson the Superstar & Michael Jackson the Devout. I'm honestly surprised that the Jackson 5 wasn't shut down from the outset by the Jehovah's Witnesses. That circle would NEVER be squared & after Thriller something was gonna have to give. But his Jehovah's Witness upbringing never left him even if he studied other belief systems & incorporated them into his own. This is probably why he moved like moved as a Superstar. His Entertainment platform WAS his Ministry. The Duality of Michael Jackson in all kinds of ways including this one between Showbiz & Church is why he is profound of an artist & a human being. Billy Jean (not the woman's real name) is about a woman who accused Jackson of fathering her child. He's singing about court & that it's not his child, etc. This was factual in his life. It's a great song & hopefully it taught youngsters to have morals.

But you cannot blame the woman. The white especially want to give MJ there own children too. The fake ones that he bought whose father are now telling the world that they are his children which one is better... They rubbish his life because Satan and his followers are the cause of his faill life. . They make sure they possess him with a mad spirit before he disappear . And inside of him, he is not mad . Even the children they told him to pay for, are plant there by the cult in his life for there mission together with the white children.

Jehovah's Witnesses see the world as Jesus saw it, alienated from God. And he taught and warned his apostles as much. Why? Because the world is under the influence and control of the Devil Satan. '' Adulteresses, {Those having immoral, sinful, idolatrous, and wicked conduct with Satan the Devil}, do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world is constituting himself an enemy of {Jehovah} God? 1John 5:19; James 4:4, NWT. Jesus revealed who is the true ruler of this world right now. John 12:31;14:30;16:11. Michael knew this. It's one of the first truths we are taught and made aware of. All true Christians in Jesus' time formed an alliance and a spiritual fortification against the things in the world. And since Jesus had conquered the world and was victorious over it, the spoils of war were his to give to his followers, only the things necessary to live and its means of life. The rest, is preserved for destruction in the end. Micael was also torn between worshiping God and the demons. ''You cannot be drinking the cup of Jehovah and the cup of the demons; You cannot be partaking of the table of Jehovah and the table of the demons. Or are we inciting Jehovah to jealousy? We are not stronger than he is are we? 1Cor. 10:21 NWT. However, Michael has placed himself in a very unfavorable position with God. Choosing to obey and drink of the cup of the demons, and eating from the table of the demons, instead of from Gods, is a very serious offense. He chose death, we can only pray that God will forgive him and raises him in the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous John 5:28,29 ; Acts 24:15. What he did was very demonic and evil against God and the truth, deliberately sinning in such a rebellious and Satanic sacrificing of his own life to the worship of the Devil. But Jehovah God is loving and merciful toward all. His life is in the hands of God and his Son the Christ, as all of our lives are. Amen.

It really amazes me, how people are convinced that they know the absolutely truth. There is Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam, and so many other religion. We are all are spirits to go through human lives. There are country with a different belief system, different faith, religion and rituals. We all have to accept each others unique spiritual journey. Michael had his own spiritual journey. To me Michael was very religious, he followed the example of Jesus and he did so much more than any other human being. He always tried to understand other religions and was tolerant regarding other belief systems. In that sense he is my inspiration, my source of energy and someone who tried to love, help and bring peace to people, that I've never seen in another human being.

Me as a former member of Jehovah's Witness organization, I can totally relate with Michael in this case. I still pray to Jehovah God each day and only come to the Memorial of Christ. I'm currently participating in the school band, which is something I would be prohibited from, though I didn't recieve much pressure since I was still in middle school, though I was told to be careful. When it comes to holidays, I treat it like it's a normal day just like what Michael considers about holidays. Especially in our local Winter Concert performances, there may be Christmas content in a piece but I don't really label it Christmas, but rather a work of art. Just like I do in all holiday music, despite what it really intends to glorify. When it comes to patriotic situations, like performing the Star-Spangled Banner in Friday Night Football games, I still play not through dedication to it's message, but as a catchy, fun and enjoyable piece of music to play. In Birthday celebrations, I would most likely go only because it's a great time to spend with friends and have fun playing games and everything. I never wish anyone a happy birthday because that's something you should be proud of everyday. The same with Mother's/Father's Day because you should always honor your parents everyday. My whole point is that I am basically still a Jehovah's Witness in a more personal way, as a devoted Christian, without the pressure of others trying to tell me how to serve God.

But he believed in Jehovah, he said so (I think it was an interview) in 2007. There were times in his life when he distanced himself more however in his later years he had started going to the gatherings again and had brought his children as well. If he was truly disfellowshipped, Katherine should have kept his distance, but he was not. I am happy to be a Jehovah's Witness and I have nothing against other religions. It's weird to me that Katherine left the Lutheran and Baptist churches because of some pastors' misconduct. First of all, they are sinners too. Second, you go to church for God, not for a pastor or a priest. If you go for the latter, you've never been there for God in the first place. You can always switch churches (as in buildings) if you dont like your pastor for some reason.
@natashamcfarlane7727 Жыл бұрын
They have to set the Example as Jesús did. A Christian is a follower of christ. If a Church is not following everything Jesús did or did not do they're not Christian. This is simple maths. Jesús rebuked the Scribes and Pharasees who were the religious leaders of his day for not practicing what they preached. They killed him for it too.
@MaddieSchnitzel Жыл бұрын
@@natashamcfarlane7727 well, no, a christian is NOT someone who does every single thing Jesus did. It is even impossible for we are not God. To be Christian you have to realize you are not perfect and never will be thus you need Savior to sanctify you and free you from any stain. Human nature in itself is imperfect. Walking with God will heal your life and soul though, even if you will forever be an imperfect sinner. And showing this truth to others can be a better testament to God and His mercy and love in the spectators' eyes. I think it is better for people to see a flawed person being accepted and loved than to see a person who is morally higher than others. It’s easier to learn from the former. The latter isn't as motivating and as beautiful than the former. Christians are humans, not gods on earth. Please, don’t expect them to be perfect. That is not what christianity is about. The greatest sinner is welcome at Church. And that’s what's beautiful. And they can keep coming back even if they sinned day by day anew. Thank you for reading and responding.

Here’s what I think. As much as I love MJ, I don’t see how he could be part of a church community like Jehovah Witness or Christian community in general when the world is treating you like Jesus. It defeats the purpose of the practice. How can he part of a community that says there is only one messiah if that person is not him and everyone around him is treating him like a god. It just doesn’t work.

+crazy4corbinbleux It was impossible. No way to make it work no matter what workaround you do. That's why I wonder why the Jackson 5 was allowed to exist in the first place. But that's the difference between Dogma & Spirituality. Some follow the Letter more than they follow the Spirit. But the truth of it is Michael truly lived up to his first name. Michael = Who Is Like God? They saw God in Michael because he did his best to live a Godly life. They saw Jesus in Michael because he walked a path like Jesus. He didn't just talk the talk. He walked the walk. In truth, he was one of the best representatives of Christianity & Religion in general on the planet. His ultimate legacy is the Divine Message he embodied in his Artistry. Even Non-Religious people pattern themselves after Michael & try to live like him. And isn't that whole point in the end? That people live life in a righteous way? I myself look for Universal Truths that transcend the Dogmas of Religion. That's how you separate the wheat from the chaff on Religion & other Philosophies. Michael's platform as an Artist & Entertainer WAS his Ministry & the Witnesses didn't understand that.

@johnlucas1543 Жыл бұрын
@@jeancristaldi8762 Thank you. So many people who got to know Michael said he was an Angel. Or like an Angel. There's a reason for that. His prominence was no accident. The little boy who sang ABC with his brothers was set on this path for a reason. I believe his life was designed to be an example for the world. Michael himself knew that it was never simply about mere Entertainment. He was following what he was ORDAINED to do even if the Kingdom Hall didn't approve. The Dangerous Tour was literally a Charity Event. He sweated on that stage in order to help people. It was pretty much a glorified Telethon raising money for a cause. Just like Jerry's Kids. And it's no surprise to me in hindsight that he was taken down doing such a thing with the Witchhunt. He would have inspired too many to follow his path & that would have shifted the world order. But in hindsight I even see Michael's persecution as part of the ordained plan. Not a surprise that was murdered preparing a series of concerts in a permanent takedown. Michael was there to show what was possible & him being interrupted from his full plan is supposed to inspire us to finish the work he started. He was sent here as an example for us the entire time.

This somehow remindes me of the joke of believer who asks God to save him from drowning , and after getting help from lots of people which he all refuses asked God why didn't He save him, to which He responded that he already sent boats, men... Such a tiny Congregation as Jehovah but with such egos, blinded by sheer arrogance decided to attack him instead of using to expand their faith.

I was a JW for most of my life. What you are saying is not always true. They give people ultimatums a lot. They did not know what to do with Jackson because they never dealt with that kind of fame. He was bigger than that entire religion and they hated that. They hassled him nonstop. They are not caring people, they only care about people who follow their agenda. They break up families and shun people who grow up and disagree with their teachings. Kids are cut off from parents, parents are cut off from their kids, and some grandparents never met their grandchildren, it's a cruel faith. People are instructed to not associate with nonbelievers, and only with the community of Witnesses, but one who leaves the Faith is suddenly cut off from the only people they know. JWs are discouraged from pursuing higher education, they settle for low-paying jobs and do not plan for the future, because they are taught the end of the world as we know it is near. They have been saying that for over a hundred years. People become old and unprepared for their senior years. Jehovah's Witness believe that their “loving” God Jehovah is going to destroy most of the humans on the planet, rewarding the Earth to Jehovah's Witnesses. If you want to ruin your relationship with your family. If you want to cut off your association with the people you love. If you want to worship a God that is like Adolf Hitler on steroids, go ahead and contact the person above for a home Bible study. Understand ahead of time that they only use their own version of the Bible, it's a version that is edited and tailored to fit their teachings, and since they change their teaching every time it's proven wrong, they revise their Bible every few decades. All facts my friends. The suicide rate of the people who have been cut off from their families is astronomical, the cases of depression are out of control, and love is not treating family as if they are dead. This is a region led by men who have zero connection with a higher source, their mission is to control people, to fulfill their agenda. On top of all of that, they have a horrible record of dealing with pedophiles. They rarely turn them in and try to handle it “in-house” to not soil their reputation (or bring reproach on Jehovah) hence pedophiles offend over and over and over again. Members have no idea how much of their donated money goes to paying off lawsuits and hush money. If you are a fan of controlling cults, this may be for you. The definition of a cult is an organization that controls the INFORMATION its members can access, the BEHAVIOR of its members, the THOUGHTS its members can entertain, and the EMOTIONS its members express. That is a Grade-A certified, premium CULT. The root of all evil is separation and disunity. God, the real God is nothing but love and oneness. Sadly it is a religion full of very nice, yet misguided people who follow leaders who they call their Governing Body who are pure evil. ✌️🏾

Because he became smart and realized that a relationship with God is not about religion but about a personal relationship. Also, anyone with that kind of gift is automatically spiritual, its a gift that can only be given from above.
