It’s not just that. Research how many rural hospitals closed before the affordable care act. Even with it, many counties have a single hospital, and it’s barely able to make payroll. They cut healthcare facility reimbursement (by dramatically increasing unpaid care when the ACA is cancelled), don’t say a word when people are looking at 100 mile drive to an emergency room, when people die because they bled out from childbirth, died of a heart attack, from an allergic reaction, from half a hundred things that access to critical care, to emergency care could have prevented. When your child is stung by a bee and has their first anaphylactic reaction, and your ER is closed and all ambulances in use transporting others to hospitals 100 miles away. I have a mssg from you. It is a fictional character but still inspiring.There will be times when the struggle seems impossible. I know this already. Alone, unsure, dwarfed by the scale of the enemy. Remember this, Freedom is a pure idea. It occurs spontaneously and without instruction. Random acts of insurrection are occurring constantly throughout the galaxy. There are whole armies, battalions that have no idea that they’ve already enlisted in the cause. Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward. And remember this: the Imperial need for control is so desperate because it is so unnatural. Tyranny requires constant effort. It breaks, it leaks. Authority is brittle. Oppression is the mask of fear. Remember that. And know this, the day will come when all these skirmishes and battles, these moments of defiance will have flooded the banks of the Empires’s authority and then there will be one too many. One single thing will break the siege. Remember this: Try.

@learobinson44507 күн бұрын
@moondoggy02116. I don’t understand how Trump voters can’t see that the sentence makes perfect sense. Let’s say 45% of people don’t like the it that means 55% of people do like it. So saying it’s unpopular is true. When almost 1/2 of a group doesn’t like something it’s fair to say it’s unpopular. But when over 1/2 of the group likes it & wants to keep it then it’s also accurate to say it’s more unpopular to get rid of it. 55% is more than 45%. 45% is a lot but 55% is bigger. It’s really not that hard to understand.
@moondoggy021167 күн бұрын
@ I’m not a Trump voter, and my point is that the sentence does make sense from a reporting standpoint, but the tortured logic of always wanting more and blindly voting for “change” in every election is lunacy. It reeks of “the food was terrible and the portions were too small.” The unpopularity of a good economy and more affordable healthcare is lunacy. Your example credits voters with less hypocrisy than they have displayed.

With most Americans having Voted for Trump, what do we now consider red states versus blue states? For example, I always thought Pennsylvania was a blue state, but now it is a red state. Are there any blue states now? I sure hope so, but I would appreciate it if someone could educate me on that.

I work in healthcare, directly with insurance, and it never ceases to amaze me the amount of tax credits that are handed out to people who aren’t working or are here with green cards, etc. Then there’s people like us who have to work two jobs to eat and survive, and we don’t qualify for any “on exchange” benefits and/or tax credits. My husband pays $800 a month for health insurance for 3 people. The system is broken. The entitlement of those that lie, cheat, and steal for their tax credits would baffle the average honest American.
@thisorthat7626Күн бұрын
To be fair, are the people who aren't working or have green cards (which means they are here legally) on state aid? What state do you work in? Most people agree that health insurance is very expensive for what people get but there is a difference between what the Federal gov't pays and what states pay.
