Great interview and guest as I have watched Bill's KZbin channel for many years. I'm also an American expat and have lived here in Mexico and really enjoyed it. The culture, history, and the Mexican people are really what gives Mexico it's charm because it's so different than the U.S. I have come to appreciate the differences and how welcoming the people are once you get to know them. And Bill's advice was spot on about asking yourself what do you want? What type of place, climate, size of population, amenities, stores and medical care. Mexico is a huge country with diverse climates and every one of the states here has a different cuisine, topography, and way of life. People should have no problem finding a place that they can enjoy after exploring for awhile.

Hola Mariana! Thank you for sharing this great video. I just return yesterday from Playa Del Carmen. 17 Real Estate Agents travel there to acquire Real Estate Certification to sell properties in Mexico 🇲🇽 from USA. We are the first generation to accomplish this wonderful opportunity. I’m in the process of applying for my Matricula to sell in beautiful Morelia! 🥰

Great video! Love the approach on the various issues people who want to relocate to Mexico face. Such as climate, cost of living, expat heaven yes or no, and, how to learn Spanish, how to make friends, and finally, on how to find a landing spot and explore Mexico from there.

The cost of living in Mexico is rising quickly, those taking these videos seriously should be aware of that.

Are there gated communities in Morelia? How far from centro?
@guiovanacazares188223 күн бұрын
@@davidsebastianelli1326 Hola David! The reason for my question is because I’m a Real Estate Broker in Illinois and I just acquired my Certification to sell Real Estate in beautiful Mexico!!! 🇲🇽 😉
@53toddk23 күн бұрын
@@guiovanacazares1882 There is a gated community near the Tecnologico de Monterrey campus, golf course, major shopping mall, and large fairly new Hospital Angeles in the Jesus del Monte district in/on the Altozano (elevation 7000 feet) SE of Morelia centro, if you want a more modern housing/lifestyle. Cool year-round up there. Few residents are Anglos. I lived there for a year while teaching at the university. Be aware that living in a gated community does not guarantee you a much higher level of security. I did not live in the gated area of the Altozano, but I always felt safe there. A city bus service serves the Altozano and will take you down/up to the centro, airport, or the Costco. On the far eastern edge of Morelia there is Fraccionamiento Tres Marias, including the world headquarters of the Cinepolis cinema company and a golf course. A bit closer (west) of the centro is Fraccionamiento Hacienda Corralejo.
