@@peoplepopular I am currently 35 year old, I sucked at engineering, failed at it, somehow passed it in 5 years instead of 4....but crossed path with something I would love doing for the rest of my life.... I walked into a trading seminar by some guy who ran a fund of 230 crores and thats when I knew it, It was the thing....tried doing it myself, burnt 3 lakhs in 9 months....then I knew I needed to seek a mentor, I luckily got one.....he helped me understand the markets inside out, and then I almost burrowed 5 lakh from my parents, promising to return it....trader for a year and made a mere 14% profit on it....made a case on it and showed it to any potential client and in 3 years, I managed more than 7 crores, and on an avg 1.5 to 2 lakhs a month..... Grew that business to 30+ clients with a total AUM 19 crores, thus generating 4 to 5 lakh in commissions which I usually got in cash as I lived in a tier 2 city..... And then I used 15 lakh to start a cafe at my town and I still own it, it generates me close to 1 to 1.5 lakh a month.... Then I shifted to bangalore and with a friend of mine got a contract for fitting speed governers on public transport vehicles from govt of karnataka....actually it was his idea, and I just supplied funding of 7 lakhs and then pumped more to now owning a service center for luxury cars and bikes....never pulled out a penny from this business coz the setup for the service center ate up all money coming from the govt contfact, but now this business alone earns me 3 lakhs min a month.....and its completely run by my friend, and we have a 65/35 share on profit. Next I started a small business for manufacturing of utensils near jigani industrial area but that business failed out during covid.....then I collabed with a friend of mine to open up a training institute for MAT, KSAT and other govt exams...again I supplied the fund he manages the facility and I made 29 lakhs fron that last FY..... Basically I am a stock trader, coz all other businesses are funded by that, but all other busineses are independent source of generating cash for me..... I work 9:15 to 3:30 (Mon to Fri).....evening I try to keep a track on all other businesses but its not easy, specially the cafe at my hometown where I have a manager whose father worked at my dad's workshop for 22 years, so a very honest and hardworking guy who also gets 3% of the profits along with 27k salary...... I am still looking for businesses to invest in and around bangalore....let me know if anyone has a solid business plan....

We can earn 100 cr in just 13 years if you invest in equity mutual funds which will give you more than 95 percent returns. What about inflation? Your returns say 12 percent minus 5-6 percent inflation equals effective return of 6-7 percent. The problem is we see returns of future in terms of today’s value. 10 cr 12 years from now is worth 5-6 cr due to inflation.
@remoterish6 ай бұрын
Yes that’s right. The amount won’t change but it’s value will. Calculation stays same but the next generation will be able to see its value in their terms and inflation will be accounted for in their perspective. The reason I’m not worried about inflation is I’m not building this portfolio for myself. If you’re worried about it you can have a calculation for the same

Amazing video! But what about the Inflation rate? 111 cr in 20 years wouldn't be of same value as today

Hi Rishabh. First of all, thank you for this video. At the time of this video. I beleive your Portfolio Value is ~3Cr and as per the slide at 7.30 it should be 10CR in 10 years. But at the slide at 10.19, you mentioned that your portfolio value will be 19Cr in 10 years. Can you please explain the difference of how would you achieve an extra of 9Cr or am I understanding anything wrong?

Hi Chintan, one calculation is without the SIP and one is with the SIP. I believe those are the 2 you’re referring to

Let's be a lil practical guys, reaching the first crore itself is a big thing, considering EMI s, expenditure and what not. If i have even 50L, i can make kt work. But thats not what we all get.. especially if someone is starting to invest late.
@remoterish4 ай бұрын
Yes, the most practical way to reach 1 crore is not through the stock market or investing, but rather by building a business. The role of Investing starts after that.

Increasing passive income is ok. Man why do you have to reduce active income towards retirement..i dont understand this
@remoterish7 ай бұрын
I see myself as owing more businesses over time and controlling them rather than operating them thus reducing the active involvement in the business
@nvs10677 ай бұрын
@@remoterish oh you talked about reducing involvement ah..I took you literally when you said you are reducing active income
@remoterish6 ай бұрын
Yes, just need the right people who want to operate the business and make more active income compared to me

Can I please ask why do you prefer zerodha instead of groww?? Does groww have any problems? I always have suspicion that I dnt get the right figures for my return from groww.. thanks for your reply

I have no personal experience with groww. This question will be good for someone who has tried both. I have no financial interest in any of these tools.
