Hi Everyone,
I was looking the other day in my phone and come a cross of this red 2003 rs6 for sale.
I kept looking and investigating how much its going to sell sense i have the same one and pretty much with the same mileage, just different color.
After some time i find out the price was 23k $ the highest bid!!!!!
I couldn’t digest how low it stopped the biding war!!! I believe the only reason people are not bidding more its because the are scared in base of the internet.! What the internet says its impossible to own this car!!!! and what i can say in base of my experience lots of stuff its not tru how bad they make it sound.
Every german sports sedan are expensive and hard to maintain, & and some are more expensive or les expensive then the other but all of them they are expensive and i am compering this one with the 2003 E55 amg or the E39 M5.
Soon people they will understand and realize how special and unique this car is and especially once it becomes classic.
Anyway i am not going to say anything else and I will let you be the judge.

I have one. Bought it for $21,000 in 2016 with 80,000 miles, it now has 108k. The RS6 sold new in 2003 for a base price of $85,000. Only approximately 1000 units were shipped to all of North America for one year only, 2003. Mine is silver with white leather and carbon fiber interior trim. No major repairs. I've maintained it and tracked it. Being a former Porsche racer, my stock RS6 performed like a race car at Laguna Seca, staying in front of race prepared cars. I absolutely love my 2003 RS6 and will never sell it. I did replace the timing belt at 96k miles and did a full factory 100,000 mile maintenance, expensive but necessary. The biggest potential for failure is the transmission/torque converter. No one in the San Francisco bay area has the ability to repair or replace. Removal, shipping, repair, and replacement will set you back $10,000. The Dynamic Ride Control System (DRC) was way ahead of it's time. If does fail, it's best and cheaper to just covert to a standard coil-over suspension.

I am so happy you’re an owner of an C5 rs6. I can explain inof to people how much I love this car and how special it really is. This car it really deserves way more but I think and believe people will appreciate it way more once it becomes classic. Anyway sense you have an rs6 like mine subscribe because this car will be hanging around me for life 🥂

Your 💯 right it’s just drives me crazy how bad the internet makes it sound. For the internet it’s impossible to own but honestly I haven’t had a single problem with it except the gas leak. But that it’s to aspect something like that because it’s over 20 years old but other than that it’s incredibly solid.

I'm glad too, but the reason is real. If you cannot work on your own car, the Audi Dealership will 'rip you a new one' to work on these because labor charges are high, for a lot of the common repairs...

You’re very welcome. I hope you will come an across a good one. This will be perfect for weekends. Honestly I have it for almost 4 years and they have lots of electronics and still the battery in perfect condition. The only thing I am having it’s the gas leak wich I am waiting to get one of my other cars and drop this one. But other than that never had a single problem with it. It’s expensive but honestly every performance sedan or sports cars are expensive. Maybe this one it’s slightly more expensive then some others but considering how rare it is and unique and special it is it makes up for it. At least for me. I won’t give up this car for anything. Very very deeply in love with this one

I’m interested in buying one I found for 9k with 104 thousand miles but has a salvage title due to something with the bank repossesing it or something but has no accidents and I’m not sure where to stand Beacuse everyone says don’t even think about it but for that price and mileage I think it’s good but the dealer also said it needs new brakes all around

I think it’s a really good deal. Now if you never had a sports car before it’s going to cost you a little. It’s not a cheap car to maintain but what I can tell you is me personally owning 2 of them and still own this one I never really had to spend anything on it except the oil change. However on mine I have evap leak that’s the only thing I am having on my car other than that 4 years of ownership almost not a single problem. People talk lots of crap about this car but considering how special and rare and unique this on is it’s absolutely worth the money. I can’t stretch inof how special it truly is. And again if you never owned a v8 before or a sports car it’s going to be expensive but if you can afford it it will make up for it. Again mine it’s pretty low mileage so I haven’t spent any money on it yet however it’s coming up a big service soon at 50k miles. I personally want to buy another one and do an engine swap or something crazy because I just love the body style of this car so much. Anyway I personally would say buy if you can afford to spend some money but if you never owned a sports car you should probably stay away because it’s expensive on gas as well because it really drinks so gas and honestly evry v8 drinks lots of gas. Anyway do your research and think about it and see if that makes sense for you because this car it’s not for everyone. It’s either you love it or hate it and because the social media makes it seem impossible to own. Anyway let me know if you end up getting it 🥂
