I am glad Big Finish had the maturity to give Six and Peri this sort of conversation. It’s wonderful to see animated too!
@squadalaguydc6 ай бұрын
Damn...I just realised this story takes place directly before The Reaping. Sure, Peri ends up taking a break from the Doctor, and goes to college. But **damn** does the lead-up to it hurt more in hindsight...

For obvious reasons when animating Doctor Who, the missing episodes take precedence, HOWEVER, when the missing episode animations are finally done, I hope we get animations of the audio adventures. There are so many Doctor Who audio stories the majority of which are great and deserve attention.

Yeah I hope after the missing episodes are done they move on to more projects. I love the animation range!

Considering the many lengthy scenes in Season 22 of Peri and the Doctor bickering, one wonders why Eric Saward never thought to include a conversation like this.
@ireallydidntwanttomakeanac5756 ай бұрын
I'm honestly now kind of glad that Tales from the TARDIS didn't tackle this issue, because the way that The Quin Dilemma deal with it is done superbly. It is nothing but the Doctor and Peri expressing what needed to be expressed, with the wind being the only soundtrack needed. This is a wonderful moment, and it is beautifully animated. Well done, Josh!

Six and Peri were always my favourite Tardis team, I’m so glad Big Finish gave them the character development they deserved and justified Peru’s decision to stay with the Doctor after every thing he put her through. Great work with the animation too, can’t wait to see what you do next.

I do wish modern Doctor Who would stop treating the Doctors like they're separate entities. That is the antithesis of why this show was magical when I was a little kid in the 80s.
@filipesantosproducoes5 ай бұрын
Well, this is not exactly true... Because even in classic who we see the Doctor treating himself as another person, Sixth, for exemple. And in New Series, we also have exemples of the Doctor thinking he old selves as him, like in the Day Of The Doctor or The Girl Who Died. There's a lot of this duality trough the show

Recently, I came off methadone. Coming near to 50. This scene has more meaning. It may be a relationship between characters unfamilar to a lot of people now, outside of Doctor Who fandom, but, a scene like this, can be related by anyone. There comes a time when we all have to REGENERATE as people and MOVE ON. It's a scary thing to do, at any age, but, change will come not a moment too soon.... one way or another. “We all change, when you think about it. We’re all different people all through our lives. And that’s OK, that’s good, you gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be.” Weird the more older you get the more you see and understand things which were there for SO LONG before right in front of you? I saw that on a TV show once.... You'd like :)

For how she had a death scene in trial of a timelord mindwarp and then you see her alive in terror of the vervoids...they should have made her a timelord like Romana without the doctor knowing at first that way she could've had been with mel but with a second incarnation to be played by Australian which named Fiona Horne aswell.

Did someone knew that Disney+ changed the trailer for Doctor Who in ther platform? They replaced the David Bowie song for something more sombre. Also, in the scene with the Doctor screaming in space from inside the Tardis now you can see that Mel is behind him and the inside of the Tardis has been replace by the memory Tardis from Tales of the Tardis.
