Qui gon, despite the short amount of appearance, is shown to be the goat jedi. If he were to train Anakin as well, Darth Vader would most likely not exist. He would probably help Anakin cope his emotions and warn him that the Chancellor is so full of the dark before he got to Anakin's mind.

They did take his word. That's literally why they sent Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan back to Naboo. They explain it is to draw out her attacker and unravel the mystery of the Sith.

The Jedi Council instead of being servants of the Light Side of the Force, they rather chose to became servants of Corrupt Senators & Politicians. I don't even care even if others try to defend Master Yoda. It was Grandmaster Yoda's own hewbris that had led to the destruction of the Entire Jedi Order. Mace Windu was a carrerist Pig. I always had the feeling that if Dooku somehow decided to NOT LEAVE the Jedi Order & became Grandmaster by succeeding his former master Yoda. None of this would've happened to the Jedi. If they had seriously taken the threat of the Sith. Instead of going towards the opinion of a smug face like Mace Windu having the impression of, we've never ever encountered any Sith before. If Qui Gon survived & Dooku not leaving the Order, none of this would've happened in the first place. If Dooku had been Grandmaster, then Qui Gon would've obviously joined the Jedi Council.

Qui Gon was first and foremost a kind and wise man with a conscience, and only then a force user. He didn't need a seat in the Jedi Order to do just and good deeds. He was not a slave to the Jedi code

Absolutely. The duel of the fates was exactly that. If Qui Gon survived, Anakin would have been unstoppable. Obi Wan did his best, ill never deny that. But Qui Gon's training of the natural force would've made Anakin a god.

Why didn't Qui-Gon be able to defeat Darth Maul? Why had he had been so easily influenced under Darth Maul's powerful being a Sith Lord under the dark side of the Force? Imagine if he had defeated Maul!!

@Randytherumblerr quigon was extremely powerful in the force, but not so much as a duelist, whereas Maul was one of the most vicious duelist Siths ever. It's funny cause both of them are my two favorite characters in the main movies other than Anakin and they die within 5 minutes of each other haha.

@@Randytherumbler A few factors here, Maul was a great fighter one of the best and Palpatine even thought he was good enough to take on two jedi. While he was a smart and wise man Qui-Gon’s flaw was not accepting his age, he used a light saber form that was a younger man’s style. You can even see he got tired in both fights because of the form be used. His own master Dooku was older and used a form that did not tire him out which is why he could keep up with younger fighters and not be physically exhausted. In the novel Maul also tricks Qui-Gon by making the two jedi think he is on the retreat and their momentum is driving him back, in reality Maul was positioning them so he could split them up.

Possibly but Maul was a very skilled fighter, Qui-Gon was a good fighter as well but not quite as naturally talented which Maul is. Qui-Gon was better in the use of the force, and had a stronger connection to.

It’s amazing how much Qui Gon’s death impacted the events of the prequels. Had he not died, Anakin would be in a much better state of mind as a Jedi and the Jedi Order themselves wouldn’t have lost their way

That is the hidden meaning behind “Duel of Fates”, it was literally the fate of what would likely happen with Anakin. Palpatine even knows that he needed Qui-Gon out of the way or he could not manipulate Anakin. He specifically tells Maul above all else “kill the master”, this was why Maul separated them so he could do that as he saw Qui-Gon was able to be tired out when alone.
