I remember someone said Quicksilver doesn't move fast, he just makes time outside of his bubble around him flow slower, so he selectively decides the flow of time; and that just makes more sense to me. Especially when he was playing pong in days of future past and the game itself was also going at super speed, as if he changed the flow of time around him but kept the game in his time. It also looks like in the movie they switch between his perspective walking at a regular speed, and what looks like him walking at super speed, not running. As if time is just flowing selectively for him. That honestly just makes more sense to me.

To be honest, quicksilver probably has something more akin to a warp bubble that covers his body when he wants to go fast. His relative time, and the relative time for things directly touching his body would be much more normal than otherwise possible. This gets around many of the unintended side affects without requiring numerous extra powers. he doesn't implode when hitting water droplets because they go from experiencing time at a regular rate, to experiencing time at his accelerated rate. This would also explain why his hands don't simply crumple the guards guns when he moves them aside, or pulverize the back of people's heads when he gives them a nudge. The best part? to him and anyone witnessing him, it just appears to be super speed.

The reason why the impact becomes so bad at high speeds is because the force exerted is equal to the mass of the fly multiplied by how much you are accelerating it (represented by the equation f=ma). For example, you are traveling at a velocity of 1,000 meters per second in a given direction. When you hit a fly, you are accelerating that fly to your current velocity almost instantly. That means the force you exert on that fly is equal to the mass of the fly multiplied by however long it takes for the fly to reach your current velocity (which as I said is nearly instantly other than how long it takes for the flys body to crush). Gravity affects time and space so he is actually slowing down time while also moving ultra fast. So the speed is relative to the time he has slowed down so people are not experiencing the speeds you think, and the amount of force needed to propel himself isn't as high as a result. It's a combination of slowing time and being fast to get those results. He can observe time that he has slowed while everyone else can only precieve it as if would have flowed regularly.

Legit just realized in quicksilvers two speed scenes where he’s in street clothes (the mansion explosion and the pentagon kitchen), the two shirts he’s wearing are not only band shirts, but they kinda have to do with his powers. The pentagon kitchen shirt is “Pink Floyd’s Dark side of the moon” which shows light refracting into a rainbow through a prism, something that we can’t see under normal circumstances due to how fast it’s happening. I would have to disagree because of the fact that he would have killed everyone he knows from an early age if he didnt have supplemental powers or merely a "warp bubble" as some have called it. I could for sure see him having the power to generate a field of slow time in his own body and the things he touches causing others to precieve his movements as ultra fast. And this means he would become better at decreasing the speed of his field of energy as he got older. Quicksilver isn't super durable at all. Mutants nearly always have more than one ability. Cyclops, for example, only seems to have the ability to release concussive blasts through his eyes. However, he also has abilities protecting himself from the blasts. Mutants that need them have abilities to protect themselves (and sometimes others) from their primary abilities. Most are less noticeable abilities, including the abilities Quicksilver needs for everything to work smoothly while he's using his speed. There's a lot of real-world physics that he would need to get around, and the same goes for other speedsters, too. The Flash's connection to the Speedforce, for example, allows him to bypass the physical consequencecs of moving that fast. Quicksilver has extra abilities allowing him to bypass those physical consequences. As a more noticeable example, Wolverine's healing factor is likely a protective measure for his primary ability: his claws. They rip through his skin every time they come out (which is why it hurts), and being able to heal quickly could be a measure taken so that Wolverine won't always have cuts between his fingers (deep wounds being constantly open can lead to bleeding out, even if their openings are small). Mutations are always described as evolution. Evolution always foucuses on survival to repopulate. That's why if you are naturally predisposed to bleeding out, you'd naturally have a protective measure against that. The same rule applies to super speed as a mutation.

Durability alone requires your "every" system to buff up. Imagine the blood pressure in your vains trying to push through muscles and tissue so hard, that a shrapnel would feel it as if it was rock or hard metal. So everything, your ear liquids, your lungs, your bone marrow, vains, heart, cartilages, nostrils, traquia, etc. Look, EVERYTHING would have to acomodate just right according to the level of durability your body possesses and everything shall be miraculously and accurately balanced in terms of how much durable your body would be on every single part of it. Too much on something so insignificant and you're done. Imagine the pain of having one of the tendons connecting your knee been specifically more durable than the rest of your leg. It would feel like if it was a metal tendon. It would just tear you up. Anyways. When it comes to metabolism, yeah. You would need an INSANELY RIDICULOUSLY EFFICIENT metabolism to even try to keep up with sustaining such a hardened body, much more a body that works at those speeds. Water and food would need to be processed so insanely good, not even the fumes of it would be enough. Depending on how good it is, we could say you would be shtting coin size turds. And... With abdominal muscles so ( _necessarily_ ) strong, you would be a damn sniper when shtting. Quick silver would be burning on movement and swetting the food he ate. So much that the toilet wouldn't probably be a thing he would visit so often. Then again. He would have to if he's planning on healing big wounds at such a rate of speed. *ALSO* Your hunger clock would be so insanely quick depening on how good this metabolism we are talking about is, that by that metabolisms perspective in comparison to yours, it would be like weeks or months without going to the bathroom, but *EACH DAY* Get what I mean? You'ld need it to be very adaptable to change on the rate of consumption of food and the rate of... Excretion. Otherwise, those sniper turds you sht would have to come every damn time it has something to process. So yeah. Realistically speeking. *_The gods of Olympus want to know your location_* Man. It must really suck to be super durable. To your body it would be like been subjected to super low gravity (again. Depening on HOW MUCH durability and so on, you posses). That would be very very bad for your muscles and bones and overall development. There's a reason astronauts have to exercise so often when in 0G. This Quicksilver from DOFP and AOO is so much faster than any TV/Movie version of Flash that it's not even close. He's at least 100x faster. And remember in JLA where Flash was just barley faster than Superman? Well Superman let all those people in the courthouse die from the explosion, Quicksilver could have saved them all, Superman was in the room and didn't have time to save even 1 person....QS was hundreds of feet away outside the X-Mansion and detected an explosion, and proceeded to run around a huge mansion saving people, fish etc, while doing drinking soda, moon walking etc. in STYLE......he's 1000x faster than Superman

It's all in the writing and what's needed in the script obviously, and the movies or comics don't really delve deeply into what they have created with super speed characters. Technically, nothing and nobody would be able to beat a speedster unless they were invulnerable to any form of damage.

Quicksilver is faster them the flash from s1 to s3 but te flash from s4 is 12x slower then the speed of light, which means that cw flash is faster then quicksilver
