It legitimately doesn’t make any sense the way they think they can just make these villain movies while not having the Spiderman character. I agree with that observation. Sony doesn’t care about character development, like Marvel does, but just want to use the IP to make money. As long as Marvel Studios keeps using Spiderman, they know there’s money to be made with any secondary character.

Is Hardy saying he's done as "Venom" after V3 or that he's done with the Eddy/Venom characters? Depending on how he words that, it's entirely possible that he's "not lying" based on technicalities. For example, Eddy in the comics went on to be Anti-Venom for a while, which would mean he is done as "Venom," but not as Eddy. If he were done with Eddy, he might continue to voice Venom without Eddy playing a role. So on and so forth. Personally, the only cameo I'm still really waiting for is Joe Manganiello as Agent Venom/Flash Thompson. And maybe, if we could get away with it, letting a number of voice actors show up in the movies either as variants of their characters or even just cosplaying them at a convention in a movie (seems like something Mrs Marvel would be into). I specifically could see the few from Critical Role going for it, maybe a few of the actors who voiced Spider Man (I think fans would flip out if another live action Spider Man appeared, then unmasked himself to reveal Drake Bell). Secret Wars has the potential to be the nostalgia hype train of the century if Marvel chooses to do it right.

I can’t wait for spider man 4!! Even though I’ve watched No Way Home so many times and will continue to do so for the rest of my life, at times I still can’t believe No Way Home happened. For me it truly made me love the Marvel movies even more and did the same for Tobey’s and Andrew’s Spider-Man movies!! I just can not wait for spider man 4! I hope it’s another good one and surprises everyone. It’ll be such an insane moment for Tom’s Spider-Man to first interact with Downey’s Dr. Doom!! This is how Spider-Man 4 should go down. The movie is set in Battleworld between Doomsday and Secret Wars. Knull is the villain. This would be how Peter gets the symbiote. Peter kills Knull at the end of the movie. Ends with Peter having bloodlust for Doom and what he did to his universe.

You know what would be cool is Peter in his toughest time alone and after losing aunt May he learns Tony secretly off the books had hidden from everyone a secret stash of technology like reactors 3D printers like the one happy had. And plans for more powerful Spider-Man Suits and a stash of a couple million $ for Peter to use if ever needed especially since Tony possibly didn’t know if he would survive the mission to bring everyone back. I'm glad Tom is hopeful about getting the script "to the right place" and I like RDJ, but I'm not 100% on his Doom. I remain certain that his Doom will not be THE Doom, at least not past the MCU reboot. I think they (Feige, et al) wanted to move away from Kang, move to Doom, and use Doom to get them through Secret Wars and set up the reboot but they didn't want to short-change Doom. If they have a different Doom (Robert Doomy Jr) they get to their goal.
