California server attitude to a T. During my career in the USAF, we moved all over the country and got to sample it. We never saw such hopelessly poor, anti-social, don’t care attitude as in SoCal. When we finally moved back to Omaha after three years, we went through culture shock. It was like everyone was having a great day and was polite and helpful. Everyone! When in fact, they were just being Midwesterners and we had normalized Cali anti-social interaction. My theory on Cali was that there were too many people consuming so much that nobody really cared.
