California server attitude to a T. During my career in the USAF, we moved all over the country and got to sample it. We never saw such hopelessly poor, anti-social, don’t care attitude as in SoCal. When we finally moved back to Omaha after three years, we went through culture shock. It was like everyone was having a great day and was polite and helpful. Everyone! Ive never been to that Cheesecake Factory, but Ive had a similar experience on the East Coast. What happened was a waiter sat us in a section that was reserved for an event, but they were late for whatever reason. He didnt want to admit he made a mistake. A manager eventually explained what the problem was after 15 minutes.
