All these cars, are frightfully expensive. Sad, but true. Ioniq5 was some 49 lacs….This BMW new one is also 49 Lacs. The Kia EV6 was some 65 lacs. Think of it. These numbers, not so long ago, represented the cost of an apartment in cities like Bangalore and Chennai and Hyderabad and Cochin etc. What is going on in India that Cars are priced so high? Even a simple Maruti Swift, which used to cost 5 lacs in 2005, is now 12 lacs! It is not as if the general per capita income enables people to casually snap their fingers and buy these…

Your mother is getting railed and causing inflation. Swift costs 7,like 50-60% inflation over this period. Has gained safety. All small cars have obviously had to have a higher bar for safety and been forced to become more expensive. Then y'all would say indians get bad quality products just because you aren't willing to pay the 1-2L difference.
