Your whole setup sounds amazing through that amp! I see you’ve swapped out the Rat for the LPD Seventy4 Deluxe, seems like a more versatile pedal. You have so many great stacking options for different flavors of gain!

At maximum clean headroom, is it as loud as a Deluxe Reverb? For my uses, I would need the amp to be loud and clean, and just use my pedals for drive. Can it do that?

I'm seeing that McPherson back there and (probably not a REVV thing, but...) I'm curious about your take on effects for acoustic. Do you use any? Just a preamp and A D.I.? Verbs. etc.? Would love to hear your thoughts and maybe some specific gear ideas? Great examples of how well the D25 plays with pedals. Shocker! (NOT); it sounds great!

Hey John! Good to hear from you, man. Yeah, that McPherson is a good one. I've got a K&K Sound pure mini setup in that guitar. It's totally passive and sounds about as close to mic as you're gonna get. It's what I used for years when I was touring with CU. As far as preamps go, I'm really impressed with Grace Audio and LR Baggs. I don't really gravitate toward any FX on acoustic. Hope you're doing well!

There are buffers in quite a few of the pedals on the board. The GigRig has buffers but I've not turned them on.

The “clean” on your starting sound is fairly dirty, in my experience; it always seems to make the delays and reverb act strangely……. Does this bother you when playing??

Thanks for the question! I don't normally dial my clean tones to be "clean". There is always a bit of grit and I tweak my time-based and verb effects accordingly to fit. If I dialed everything into a "dead clean" amp and then turned up the gain, it would not sound right.
