You, Me & Sicily what an exceptional video you made, areas from all parts of Sicily, colorful, emotional and well represented... the music Sway ALWAYS gives me goose bumps and takes me back to the days when we first met and I toured with you . I loved seeing all the empty chairs that will be filled with students learning English in the Sicilian Project!!! Yay and Bravo!! I couldn't be prouder in the accomplishments of that project and goal. BUON LAVORO, Love you both!!

I taught English in Ukraine when I was in the Peace Corps and I was shocked and saddened that the Ukrainian English teachers could not carry on even the most basic conversations in English. They were, as you mentioned, very good at grammar, but that does not really help kids with comprehension and conversational English. Hope you have some great interactive creative English teachers for your classes. BTW, although I have been going to Italy every year since the 1950's, I had not been to Sicily until 2014 myself. I fell in love with the scenery, architecture, people and, of course, the food. I also love living on an Island (done it more than once) surrounded by the beautiful sea. Thank you all for what you do.

I'm sicilian and I can witness in Italy nobody teacher is able to taught fairly English. When I was child, the situation was worse, not even teachers knew it, so that I let you figure out what could be the pupils English knowledge level. Since few years I pledged to learn English utterly in my own and I reckon has been the best way. In Italy the education level is very low and the majority of teachers should be fired

Spectacular! What drew me to Sicily aside from my roots & all that you showed was lifestyle. A simple lifestyle of farming, craft, appreciation of culture, traditions & family. Old school ways! Always have a yearning to return, it calls me. Interesting turn of events Al. My dad and lots of family went to BC too. We are all connected! 😘

What makes me visit Sicily? It surely is a mysterious land. Different from mainland Italy and by far different from Northern Italy.
@thewebhorse Жыл бұрын
Quite so Vincentcilberti! I'm sicilian and I ever proudly take my distance from Italian people. You know it's not easy to realize the Sicilian people soul for many, many reasons it'snt easy to explain shortly, but I can swear we are an open, friendly people, ever glad to meet and help other people and even to open own house
