Remember when everyone crucified Alex Jones cause he said the government was putting something in the water to turn the frogs gay.... ( or something like it) Maybe...he was really onto something. Though, honestly I think it's a combo of living in their famous parents shadows, institutionalized BS from rich Cali schools, positive feedback attention, and peer pressure. Other kids are doing it?! Maybe I should too, kind of BS

Right. I don't blame a kid for thinking they're the center of the universe and that it's cool to make a memorial about themselves... That's developmentally appropriate for a 13 year old lol. They're supposed to be dumb and kinda self centered. The parents though... They should've shut that down beforehand and explained time and place. Bad things happen if the parents are also idiots who think their spawn is the center of the universe.

I left teaching after 15 years for 2 reasons... 1) I refuse to teach children the garbage that the State Board of Ed (or as most of us know, it's the DOE) has developed/established as the current curricula and 2) my husband and I decided that it was imperative that I homeschool our own (elementary aged) children. I loved my job and wanted to be a teacher as far back as I can remember, but this is not what I believe I was called to do. The job is no longer education; it's indoctrination. I made sure that the district and superintendent knew exactly why I was resigning, too. I pray that we'll see a shift back to sanity in our education system, by the time school starts next year. Blessings.

The counselor said that my daughter was afraid to tell me something and proceeded to tell me she thought she was a lesbian. I smiled and said, and? I told her I'd love her no matter who she became... But who she thinks she is now will most likely not be who she is when she's older. She's now in her early 40s, happily married with three grown kids and waiting on some grandkids. When I was part of the early, pioneering, "trans community" we polled ourselves, in private. We figured that anywhere from 60%-90% of our peers were 'mistaken in their self evaluation" when it came to their gender identity. This is peers, and we were looking at ourselves wondering what we were seeing take place. As time went on the rate of "mistaken self-evaluation" grew. By the time the 21st century dawned the trans-community' started to be dominated by those who seemed to be "mistaken in their self-evaluation". It was self-evident that the whole 'place' was not a place of health. It was not a place of comfort. It was a place of dysfunction. Or so it seemed to me... and I have seven decades of experience to draw upon.

I think there’s another aspect here. These kids live in their parent’s shadow. They are desperately looking for a way to distinguish themselves as an individual. Constantly being compare to their parents has to be frustrating and intimidating. Some of these kids don’t have the talents or good looks of their parents either, and that has to be so hard on an adolescent! Many of them are pushed towards the entertainment field of the parents… ie: North West, Blue Ivy, Willow & Jaden Smith, JLO’s daughter … and many more. Since Hollywood is known for being extremely liberal… these kids have zero resistance from their parents… and receive automatic affirmation! It’s a “win win” for both child and parent. The child gets to exert their independence & the Hollywood parent gets to look virtuous.
