Why is NO ONE talking about the fact that the webslinging is BARELY momentum based. This means you can jump from the highest building, web sling at the last second and gain no additional speed or air (momentum). Meaning you may as well have shot a web from the ground. It kind of bugs me because it's such an easy implementation to helping improve the games fun aspect :(

Web of shadows feels like and unrefined and an unfinished game but it still kicked so much as

The only problem I had with that game is that the AI of the enemies is rather bad, so to make them challenging you get a bit too powerful mob enemies later on in the game. Fine if you have almost mastered the combos by then, frustrating if you have not. There are also a few frame rate issues and the gameplay does get a bit repetitive. Apart from that, It was a game where I could sink hours before noticing.

The combat was combo based. That is far more interesting to me than batman style where the counter button is the best and easiest thing to use. I like games where you have to dodge/block the attack of an enemy, not have a dedicated button for it. Yes, web did not stick to buildings in some cases but that was always outside of your field of view, so that did not bother me. I agree that mission were crappy, too similar and boring. Voice casting was hilariously bad, but I forgot about it the second I started web swinging again. Story... Honestly, I am not sure I remember there was a story :D.

The "Batman sense" was probably just Batman hearing his attackers coming (their footsteps, the sound of their swings, etc.). I'm sure Bruce is the type of man to train himself to be able to be more aware of his surroundings.

One thing that puzzles me is that some people are complaining that the combat is like the arkham games and im really curious as to why thats a problem. +Lizard King Spiderman not dying after a fall is what doesn't make sense. If you master the swinging you won't die. That's where the thrill of swinging comes from. I'm pretty disappointed too.

Um yes it does. You could end up hitting a building or signpost and falling onto the road or hit a bus. I don't think you've played these kinds of games. It really is possible for you to just mess up and end up falling. And if you do manage to swing at the last moment imagine how much better it would feel if you just avoided a death rather than minor inconvenience.
