Why Steve Jobs Didn't Have A License Plate

Steve Jobs was known for having many strange habits, one of which was not having a license plate on his car. And his reason for this is equally as strange.
In the state of California, there used to be a loophole where a new car could be driven without a permanent license plate for up to six months.
Jobs took advantage of this by leasing a new silver Mercedes-Benz every six months. Each time the lease term approached the six-month limit, he would return the car and lease an identical model.

There is a widely circulated anecdote about Steve Jobs soaking his feet in a company toilet. According to Walter Isaacson's biography of Jobs, he did indeed have a habit of soaking his feet in the toilet to relieve stress. This story has become part of the lore surrounding Jobs' unconventional behavior and eccentricities. However, it’s important to note that this behavior was described as happening in the private bathrooms at Apple’s offices, not in public restrooms. This distinction is crucial in understanding the context of the story and its setting within his workplace.

Jobs never accepted anything that inconvenienced him. Jobs: "I want a mobile with a touch screen that I can use as a camera". Apple engineer: "Impossible boss" Jobs: "then make it possible or I'll find some else to do it for me."

I don’t care if you’re Steve Jobs or God himself, parking in a space reserved for the handicapped when you don’t need it is a genuine asshole move.
