It's that simple. you either lack physical or social attributes and those attributes cant be cancelled out with wealth that you have. This explains why in the past wealthy families were heavily involved in courtship and dating of their sons and daughters. Barriers were put up to limit the number of people that they would have access to and effectively screening them for suitability in marriage. It's one reason for private clubs, country clubs provided barriers to entry based on wealth and social standing. Another barrier was higher education. In past the high cost of college education limited those from low economic standing from being able to attend. And only those with the potential to rise above their low station given scholarships to continuslly reinvigorate the elite class with "new blood." Newcomers to this position financially lack the understanding of how these systems work and even the desire to participate in them. Putting them in a position without the support structure. I make $250/hr and work 16 hour days, and I came to the same conclusion, I'm losing money trying to date. Also, I realized trying to date in a western country is pointless because of the obesity rates and entitlement of the women.
