Spice is a truly horrible experience. I was spiked once by a guy who gave me half a joint for free and not knowing about spice I took it home with me to smoke in my old bong. Took one rip and immediately knew something was wrong and put it down. I couldn't sit up right after a short while, my ears were ringing, I was short in breath and could see colourful static. I laid back in my bed, heart pounding, worrying if I was gonna die for 3 and a half hours. I remember during those 3 hours it felt like the ceiling was moving up and down and an old phone was ringing in the next room. I eventually managed to get up and just barely walk to my brothers room to ask him about the ringing. He said he heard nothing and looked at me concerned and asked if I was alright. I just rushed back to my room and lay back down, not fully able to understand what he was saying as I left. The next day a friend asked me if I was okay. I explained what I experienced and he told me about spice. It's scary going through that without knowing what caused it. Not smoked since then.

If someone is flipping out from psychosis, anxiety or really any reason, a group of people trying to loudly get info across doesn’t help. Although the cop saying “no jail, hospital” was probably the most helpful, except drop anything that has “no” in front of it as they’re just more likely to hear “jail, hospital”. Calm things down as much as possible & just have one person talk to them as calmly & gently as possible. Don’t let them escalate the scene as it just becomes even more loud & confusing for them. And if they’re not comprehending, try single words or short phrases like “hospital” “help” “you’re ok” “you’re safe”. Even pull out your phone & get some calming music playing & dim the lights to distract & calm the brain. I’ve done that in the ambulance for a couple of patients having a psychotic break - really helped.

So, I started just getting some from said relative and eventually during a time when it was hard to procure more, I ended up scavenging through all different packs to find any to pack a bowl in the early morning before school. I subsequently had a seizure in the bathroom and had to be rushed to the ER and only ever remembered waking up handcuffed to a hospital bed (apparently, I tried to be combative with EMS) next to my parents. It was an evil life changing experience I'll forever carry with me and I continue to have seizures 10+ years later presumably because of this event.

I was overprescribed anti anxiety medicine by my doctor (who I dropped after this incident). I wasn’t violent but I was in a whole different world. Completely detached from reality. Thought my neighbors were spying on me, my smoke detector in my room was a camera and that they ran a wire to my room to play music. Thought people who I work with were in my room comforting me (they weren’t). Didn’t sleep for 36 hours. It was awful. Please be careful with medicine and what you put in your body.

In the late 60's my mom had a bad trip the first- and last- time she tried acid. Her drug experience was limited to weed, and on acid she freaked out about feeling out of control. My dad (her fiance at the time) was afraid to take her to the E.R. because of possible drug charges. Acid is one drug I was intrigued by but didn't try. I feared my normal anxiety could turn into a bad trip, even with someone to 'babysit' me. And K2 sounds terrifying. I like a mild euphoria and to feel giggly and goofy for a little while, which means only weed for me. And only at home, and only when I'm already in a good mood.

Spice is legitimately one of the most terrifying substances. The way it fucks with you, the almost 0 chance that you’ll be able to actually find out what’s in it if you need help AND the fact that someone could buy it thinking it’s weed and not know any better. You can smoke all the worlds weed and fall asleep, so if you think k2 is weed and go in the same it’s fuckin horrific. did u catch that he was on probation? i bet that's why..... they CAN test for "K2/Spice," but it might not be on the standard tests they do, at least not until they find out you're using it, then they add it. And because it's usually one or more of the 300+ "JWH cannabinoids," idk if the test even catches it even when they are looking for it. the people who do this stuff a lot, usually take tiny tiny TINY little puffs at a time, like roll a pinner and just take one little puff and extinguish it, otherwise it's entirely incapacitating

Someone once gave me a joint that I thought it was weed. At home I took 2-3 draws from it and immediately felt something was wrong. I was sitting in the living room and tried to go to my bedroom, but I was unable to walk. It took me almost one hour (!!!) crawling on the floor until I reached my bed. As I was lying there, a voice inside my head was telling me to open the window and let fresh air in the room and simultaneously a second voice kept saying "Yeah, go to the window, open it and jump down!" (5th floor). I never talked to anyone about it, but this video made me remember the most terrifying and scary situation I've been in my life! I later found out it was not marijuana but spice. I've seen some documentaries about this drug and how people react to it. It's horrifying and I cannot understand how someone can voluntary use it. If there's a drug that can make someone become seriously paranoid and psychotic, this is the one!

Synthetic cannabis is dry herbs of different plants sprayed with a chemical. Nothing like weed.
@blazedbabe3335 ай бұрын
its referred to synthetic weed because IT does affect the cannabinoid receptors, just with bad chemicals. (people still make it, but its not sold legally) My brother smoked spice throughout highschool when it was popular & could purchase them at karma. He can't smoke regular weed anymore due to the panic attacks.. no matter what or how much is smoked, it messed up his receptors still to this day.

Basically criminals create "designer drugs" in labs which mimic street drugs but avoid existing drug laws, detection, or testing. Some of this stuff ends up on store shelves, disguised as another product. Lots of other weird drugs, like MDPV, were sold as "bath salts" because they looked the same as regular epsom salts on the shelf. Remember a long time ago when that guy in Miami bit the face off a random homeless dude he passed by? They found a bunch of pills in his stomach, but weren't even able to identify what drug he took. Who knows really. The switch in society from plant based drugs to synthetic drugs has resulted in the worst drug crisis in American history. Largely the fentanyl & meth coming from cartels in Mexico.
@kissen1_4 ай бұрын
Back in the day the JWH series were pretty popular and somewhat “safe”. But over the years of continuous banning of various types of synthetic cannabis analogues the creators of this crap had to get creative in loop holing through the bans. In turn they’re creating these new synthetic cannabis that are even more potent and dangerous than the original k2/spice that people used. permanent brain damage from using this shit is very real.
