The top tennis makes most of their income from sponsorships not price money. Besides their price money is not even guaranteed as they can lose at any stage of a tournament big are small. Tennis players has lot of expense.

When I was in my twenties and early thirties, I didn't make a lot of money either. 😢 That, and tennis isn't a job. 😬🎾

The only difference is the ATP players look like Professional players, whereas the current WTA players are a bunch of jokes with rackets in their hands. The majority of them need to come into reality and go find an 8 hour job. And it is getting worse.
