I started out with a total testosterone of 238. I had bloodwork done six weeks after starting compounded testosterone cream 15% (not gel) and my total testosterone after six weeks was 1068! The free testosterone was up to 254. I felt like a primal beast. The only downside was my estradiol level was 70 (twice the high normal) and about a week before my appointment I was getting palpitations. I'm on Anastrozole now to control my estrogen and the palpitations are gone. I was told by a coworker that injects that there was no way I would get my numbers up high enough to matter if I used the cream. I showed him my test results and now he is a believer.

My personal opinion on the cream is the way it's absorbed is very effective and even better and quick to raise testosterone then using injectable testosterone and I get guys not agreeing with me saying the injectable is better. I do not agree the cream just has to be used more often and some feel it's a pain To do, each their own. I use injectable only because the price of cream is ridiculously expensive.

TRT isn’t always covered by insurance, but you can often use an HSA or FSA to minimize out-of-pocket expenses. Testosterone Cream can cost as much as $500 a month. Best to find a good TRT clinic with good prices by calling around.

Doesn't matter whether it's cream or gel, what matters is the penetration enhancer added. I make my own transdermal testosterone and it looks like neither a gel or cream. Just rotate application sites and use areas with thin skin like the inner elbow and back of knee areas.

Substantially yes. Androforte is testosterone in cetomacrogol, not liposomial base. I used testosterone propionate 6% that is testosterone 5% without the ester in cetomacrogol, 50 mg once a day and for two years my testosterone level was between 1400- 1500 ng/ dl, now, same dosage gives me a testosterone level of 6-7 ng/ dl, then I'm back to injections

There are several online clinics that offer it through their programs. It comes from compounding pharmacies throughout the U.S. Your local doctor would probably be clueless and want to put you on Androgel. I haven't heard great things about it.

I use the scrotal Atrevis hydrogel and my TT went from 300's ng/dl up to over 1400 ng/dl in 8 weeks. Free is at the top of normal range. Seems to work just fine for me. 200mg test per 1ml, .5ml per day.

This makes no sense. Please help me with this. You are saying at 20% solution you are using 0.5 to 0.75ml cream application 2x a day. I am in Japan. I use a 6% solution cream (the strongest they make here) (compound cream on the testicles). I use 0.4 ml 2x a day and my numbers are finally perfect. E2 sitting around 40 and T sitting around 800-1000. (And I am feeling perfect, right on the money) Japan is 50 years behind so I have have had to figure out my own protocol. Doing my own research. My doc didn't even know the T% in the cream he gave me. He had to call the pharmacy to find out. 6% he said. He must be wrong. But he said its 3g of T mixed in 50g of cream. 6%. I was using 2g of cream a day, and my E2 hit 85 and my T his 2500. I felt like utter crap. I kept dialing it back dialing it back dialing back. I started doing .4ml twice a day and I hit that amazing sweet spot that I felt when I first started. Anxiety gone. Self confidence up. Libido high. Just feeling right. Last blood work had me at E2-40 and T at 900. Near perfect. And I feel near perfect. So either Japan is using some form of T that is stronger at 6% or this stuff I am using is NOT 6%.

They use "direct" measuring of Free T, which nobody can really explain. As long as you are in that range, or at the top I suspect it's good. As long as you're in the upper end of the range, it's good news. I would still like to get a normal Free T range test from a different lab just to compare.

Incorrect. Testosterone is testosterone. Hair loss is cause by your genetics not testosterone. That said, androgens can accelerate your hair loss, but they don't cause it.

I don't measure the levels after putting it on, it doesn't make sense. The next day I measure them without putting it on first and get a normal level. But don't look at the levels, you have to look at how you feel.

Although, you have to contact the specific manufacturer of whatever Gel you are using as some have different instructions. Androgel themselves say to NOT apply the morning of testing. For example. I use Actavis 1% gel. 4 pumps total. 2 hours after applying I am low 700's Total (Range 229 - 902), 13 to 15 Free (Range 4.1 - 15.2), 43 SHBG (Range 11.5 - 54.5). Tested at the same time of morning when NOT applying the gel I am 350 to 400 Total, 6 to 7 Free and 38 to 40 SHBG. I've also tested 5 hours after applying and 10 hours after applying. So that I know where I am at all hours of the day.
