The sport transmission was an additional option that was separate from the M-sport package. It is probably the only desirable option that the car is missing but it has almost everything else (plus features from the future) and it's very hard to find an E60 with this many desirable options. I've seen quite a few E60s with just the regular sport package (non M-sport) and the sport transmission but missing a lot of other things such as navigation, head-up-display, keyless entry, etc.

Those headrests were phased out mid-year in 2008. Every E60 from then on came with “Active headrests” that pushed your head forward in the event of a crash as to prevent whiplash. Half of model-year 2008 cars came with the previous style of headrests.

He has twisted gear lever with transmission. E60 never got the the 8 speed trans it only got the upgraded lever
