What I think is that 24/25 will be a tough season for clubs that qualified for European tournaments because of how many matches they have to play throughout the season (Real Madrid players have to play 72 matches next season with the new UEFA Champions League format). So with that, they will not sell big or important players and as a result, not many big transfers happened this summer’s transfer window. The club that spend a lot of money this summer, surprisingly, is Atletico Madrid with 3 big transfers (Robin Le Normand, Alexander Sorloth and the latest Julian Alvarez) And no one could even reach that amount of money that Los Rojiblancos have spent 😅

As a VFB Stuttgart fan, I think this transfer window was as cursed, as blessed alike. I had hoped you might talk about the (Highly debatable) Waldemar Anton transfer, since showing him in the Dortmund kit. Stuttgart lost their captain (CD) who plead loyal to the club until weeks before the transfer, as well as the (unfortunate, but less controversial) transfer of their now best ever striker, Serhou Guirassy, also to Dortmund. Then the struggle with Deniz Undavs Transfer from Brighton & Hove. I get that you talked most about the prem, but the transfers werent as boring (some weird or dissapoing even, yet highly interesting) in the Bundesliga.

Transfers stopped being exciting years ago lol. The exciting thing about transfers was the pure unexpected nature of them. That was what made them so exciting. When transfers happen like they used to, unexpected deals, it's now a rarity because it makes people go "WOW! I didn't see THAT coming!"
