It’s rumored to’ve been ten years since the Apple Car project began. With analysts anticipating its release in 2028. But according to a recent internal announcement, Apple has cancelled the project. After investing billions of dollars and hiring hundreds of employees. So why is Apple giving up on Apple Car? Well, the first reason has to do with technological limitations.

I've been a big Apple customer since 1998, but since Tim Cook took over my enthusiasm has diminished. Where I used to defend them I now find myself agreeing with their critics. They invest so much into crap like those goofy goggles while their software definitely does not "just work" anymore. And then they want to make a car that is even more dangerous than a Tesla? I just saw where the E.U. is proposing that manufacturers have gauges in front of the driver and physical controls that can be used without taking eyes off the road, unlike the idiotic Teslas which use one big tablet in the middle of the dash. But on the bright side both Apple and Tesla are hurting in China so there's that.
