Since going carnivore 2 years ago, I have had no digestive problems at all. Prior to this I had bloating and pain on a daily basis. My diet before carnivore was mainly vegetables..

Woman needs to read up on the benefits of ketosis. Lowered inflammation, upregulation of gaba activity in brain, increased number of mitochondria. It is not just about vitamins and minerals. Carnivore also seems to be very good for hormonal health, why is that? Probably because of the high saturated fat content and the lack of plant toxins. Also being in ketosis triggers the body recycle old proteins and unhealthy fat around your vital organs making them perform much better. It is like keeping up with oil changes, you end up not clogging the engine..

My 81 year old dad has been carnivore for 3 years. He went on it to see if it would help with some arthritis that flared up after taking some antibiotics. His arthritis went away, dandruff gone, mild psoriasis gone, regular clean easy bowel movements. His skin is tighter and he has a healthy tan.

Nah - I'd day you are wrong. Carnivore is only bad for the pharmaceutical and medical industry. Prior to carnivore my doctor wanted to remove some of my parathyroid glands, thankfully I switched to meat only in 2018 and within a year I corrected almost all of my health problems. It took 3 years to correct my lower back problems but that is something I really didn't expect because I have been living with that for 18 years by then. All of the following - gone now :) obesity, prediabetes, loose teeth, bleeding gums, sensitive teeth cold sores, blocked sinuses, mouth breathing, left eye twitches (tetany) heartburn, calf cramps, yellow stool, blood in stool edema below the knees, painful feet when walking, sunburn is less shoulder, back and neck pain after waking, lower back pain and stiffness 5+ Years on the carnivore lifestyle now :) Eat Meat, Not Too Little, Mostly Fat

Your body can't break down fiber at all, so it's not doing anything good for your health. There are Vitamins you can't get from vegetables or fruits, that you need. That's why so many vegans have bad health, and are nuts. Raising LDL Cholesterol isn't a bad thing, and having low LDL isn't a good thing. There are no Essential carbs, there are Essential Fats, and Proteins. You literally don't need to eat a single plant to live. Carbs literally block your ability to burn fat. When you remove carbs from your diet, you every movement is burning fat. Which causes CICO not to work right, because if you ate with CICO in mind, you would more likely under eat. That's why they say, calories doesn't really matter that much on carnivore, because you don't need to starve your body to burn fat, because you are burning fat all day long. They say you can't out exercise a bad diet. Which is true, because it takes up to 2 hours to burn through all your carbs before you start burning fat, and then they recommend that you drink or eat a carb filled something to Replenish your glycogen. So you spent up to 2 hours working your tail off, and we all know, the avg person isn't working that hard, so they never get through their carbs, and then they recommend you throw all that work away by taking in a bunch of carbs. smh That's like going out and digging a big hole, only to refill it again. You just wasted a lot of time and effort. You spent time burning carbs, something your body literally doesn't need, in a effort to burn fat.... If your goal is to lose fat, then carnivore is literally the simplest way to do it. You get to eat till your full, and your never hungry. Many people only eat once a day, because they have a large meal, and it has so much protein, and fat in that meal, that they are literally not hungry at all for 24 to 48 hours. The idea is to not spike your insulin, anymore than needed, because insulin turns off fat burning for hours, and on a SAD diet, you are literally turning off your ability to burn fat repeatedly all day long, so even if you wanted to burn fat, you couldn't. I lost 200 pounds doing CICO, I know exactly how to lose weight, and keep it off, but learning carnivore just a few months ago, I would have lost that 200 pounds in 1/3 of the time. It would be too freaking simple for me to do it too. smh You don't need to switch to carnivore for life, but if you want to lose fat, there is no easier way, and everything else is just bs.

I’m 72, had triple bypass surgery 12 years ago & Type 2 diabetes…have been carnivore for 5 yrs now…no supplements, no medicines & 90 pounds less. Feel better than in my forties & do sprinting for exercise, extremely low inflammation measures, very low A1C (no diabetes)…& this is a bad diet? I’m proof it is not! Yes, I’m a sample of one, but look around. Thousands now out there with same results. Show me similar thousands on your diet recommendations.

I think it depends. It has caused heart attacks and heart damage in some people. So, when you do it, you do not need to tell your doc what your are doing(for him/her to shuet it down), but you had better know what you are doing and be continually checked out. Just because it does a lot of positive things for you, you do not want it to cause heart damage. Other than the brain or liver, it's the one organ you cannot do without. It's exotic, so be checked out...
