The Celtics team makes more than $500 million per year, all in all, and that's before the new media deal -- and the media deal is the biggest part of revenue. The restrictions on trades and hiring is really the main issue from the apron spending.

The 2024 Celtics maybe the greatest team of all time. The team got six 2 way players with Holiday, White, Brown, Tatum, Porzingis and Horford who all play on both ends. Analytically, the Celtics are the best when it comes to generating 3 pointers cause they make and take a lot of 3s. But unlike the prime Harden Rockets team wit D’Antonie, the Cs have more offensive diversity and more ball movement compared to those Rockets team that relied on ISO ball. The Cs constantly moved without the ball with backdoor cuts, ran pindowns, have guards & wings set screens not just bigs, have players post up & the team used post up plays often and had multiple guys handle the ball and playmake. The Cs spaced out 5 out offense is hard to stop and everybody on the team is a matchup nightmare. The Cs can 3 peat if they’re healthy and I feel the Cs are the best team ever. The Cs seem likely to 3 peat if healthy due to the team locking in everybody with extensions & not losing any key players and even adding new acquisitions like Lonnie Walker who can give them a spark off the bench. I feel the 2024 Cs can beat the 87 Cs, 91 Bulls, 96 Bulls, 01 Lakers and the 2017 Warriors cause of the talent, the skill, the size & length, athleticism and just the math with the 3s this team generates

That’s one of biggest things I’d really love to see in the coming season, for guys like quetta or Tillman to take another step toward greatness. Especially with the added minutes they’ll get while KP recovers so that Al can get the proper rest. Also I just wanna see these guys reach their fullest potential. Even a rookie like schierman or Watson making some progress would be awesome. I really liked oshae Brissett, it’s too bad he left but I understand that he had to do what’s best for his career in going somewhere he can actually play decent minutes. For a guy that deep on the bench, he made a petty legit impact on a handful of close wins. The dude clearly has the insane athleticism and feel for the game to be a starter somewhere if he can just polish his shot /get it to be more consistent. The rebounding and defense impressed me. If he does get the shot to be reliable, that’s a very complete player. Anyway I’m fairly hopeful for the development of some of these guys-it’s always great to find a gem… and with the new cba restrictions it’s only become more critical to find those types of guys and have a strong system to help the young talent grow into real nba players. I trust brad and the coaching staff
@dragonslayerthegod9284
@dragonslayerthegod9284 Ай бұрын
@@ramzeezthamightygod I’m with you on the impact Brissett had, even with such a limited role. Deff seen it with my own eyes. For me though a crucial role moving forward is our bench shooting. It’s been well known that this current version of the Celtics go as the 3 ball goes. So all though Pritchard and Hauser played serviceable seasons with a decent 9ppg . We need them both over 10 to keep this going. Their continued growth and success will provide a major impact. I’ll go out on a limb and say personally, I think everything they’ve done up to this point is over achieve so it can only get better, however it’s also true that no one was really checking for these guys. If they can become household names and really make their mark on the league , repeating just seems inevitable 🤷🏻‍♂️
@ramzeezthamightygod
@ramzeezthamightygod Ай бұрын
@@dragonslayerthegod9284 Yeah good point, as great as Hauser and Pritchard are we haven’t exactly had that reliable 10-15ppg guy or two off the bench… they’ve both become so much more well rounded as players that they’ve been able to play through those cold streaks and still contribute more than enough to stay on the floor, but the bench scoring can really be so volatile with how streaky their shooting was this past season. If they could just become a bit more level with that part of their game instead of all the peaks and valleys, it would definitely help sure up that piece of the puzzle… but anyways, I couldn’t do .000001% of what they do so I don’t wanna be unappreciative cause those mfs can hoop 😅 I agree wholeheartedly that they’ve given us every reason to believe in their trajectory as players, and clearly both put in so much work to improve in the exact areas the team needs from them. They really are so close to reaching that household name status like you said, I don’t wanna jinx it but it does almost feel inevitable at this point.
