What "modern touch" are you referring to, because this bike doesn't even have traction control. The digital guages??? Don't get me wrong I love my Road Glide it has RDRS (6 axis IMU) yet I don't feel the bike to be modern. So.....
@87Lowbird2 жыл бұрын
@@snakeoil2182 Comparing this to older lowriders, I'd say the suspension is better than the older. Dual front brake set-up with ABS. More HP than the older. I like the higher bags, lcd screen and just an overall more modern looking bike. These are all touches, and do not make it a "modern" bike It's not an S1000rr/zx10r or anything but for a overpriced HD cruiser it's pretty nice. Especially compared to the snowmobile looking baggers. I however am not the typical "Harley guy" This is all just my opinion of course.. and all my favorite cars/bikes don't have traction control. Everything in that product tear cost that much not just harley. Indians baggers. Get a softail standard if you can't afford that tear of bike. It's not harley it's everybody if you do your homework. Obviously the st is kinda a wierd in between category. But it's no different than comparing a rs camaro to a zl1. Stop comparing apples ro oranges and you will see harley is laying down competitive prices. Aftermarket parts are a different story thoe

@@dormantmenace well, i am in the motorbike business for 50 years, so i did my homework. When you had done your homework, you would have seen that i said "where we live", and known, that many Japanese or even European bikes are cheaper than a Harley in the same field. USA bikes are way overpriced when they come to Netherlands, and not for their great quality or dependability. Thou with the Pan America 1250 being the exeption in price. That is cheaper than its BMW 1250GS competition. We will have to see in a vew years if the PanAmerica is as dependable as the BMW GS wont we.
