@@semaj_5022 I didnt watch this whole video but beings that are nearly identical to what we would describe as grey aliens appear in all types of different art over the last 20,000 years or so. Not only that we have the mummies that have been in the news from Peru. There is debate over what they are, if they were ever alive or are constructed, or how they were made, but what isnt up for debate is whether these things are actual archeological finds or not. At the very least some culture in Peru was making little dolls ( and life sized dolls) that were also nearly identical to what we would describe as a grey aliens but thousands of years ago. The idea the "grey alien" archetype is some sort of modern science fiction product is pure nonsense. Three fingered beings with large eyes are just something humans like to make art of for some reason. Im not saying its proof of anything but we cant sit down and blame modern science fiction for this type of stuff. its just not being intellectually honest about it.

Land dwelling gives you the ability to harness fire and smelt metal to make tools, construct buildings and transportation, etc. Things like intelligent squid like creatures seem like nothing but science fiction to me. When coming for resources, yes stuff like metals and water etc, the basic materials are more readily available elsewhere. But those aren't the only resources our planet has. Life itself is the greatest rare resource. Think of all the chemicals/processes/enzymes/proteins that are here now that can be taken advantage of/discovered. Being able to see what those things are used for in the environment they are created in. All the forms life can take and what can be utilized from those forms (like we did with the shape of bird wings in learning how to make planes). Things they can use to improve their own technologies or integrate into their own biology. They can also farm our tech/ideas/advancements, humans come up with some crazy stuff they may not consider.

The idea that any plan or course of action we could conceive of would be effective against an alien race capable of wielding the massive amount of energy it would take just to get here from light years away is laughable. Might as well ask the ant hill in your back yard what it's contingency plan is when you pour a gallon of petrol on it and light it up.
