I personally think I got pretty good at blender using a different tutorial, I had no idea how infamous that one was until a lot of people talked about it out it and referenced it. There’s a couple videos online by these people called CG Fasttrack that they have for free (before you buy their course) that were very good for setting me up with the basic knowledges of blender.

Genuinely this style is one of my favourite on KZbin! Mostly because it lets people express themselves individually, like Funke (as you mentioned) has a vastly different style to you, to everyone else. It’s a nice break from the homogeneity of the MrBeastification of youtube imo

Ohhh, this makes me so jealous of Blender. Seeing outlines get added so easily in Blender will always make me die inside. I've dabbled in it a little bit for some technical work - like exporting an elevation map for a mrere 5s of a video... but I'm firmly in Source 2 now. I was never much of an artist, so instead I've got a goal of pushing Source to its technical limits. The SFM community on Discord is just as vibrant as 3DTubing, they're a lovely lot.

I absolutely love stumbling upon channels like this. Seeing others passionately describe their journey to learn more, taking influence from or paying homage to other artists, and just propping up other artists in general. It's just *so **_awesome!_* Every video akin to this one gives me more drive to get continue with Blender, to keep learning and reaching new milestones in my 3D competencies so I can inch closer to doing the things I've always daydreamed of. Plus, seeing how artists approach their work has even helped me re-think how I do 2D work, and I've gotten SO much better than I was this time last year. I'm more confident, I'm taking on new challenges, and I'm having a genuinely fun time while doing it... And I attribute a lot of my gained enthusiasm to creators like you - people that share their joy for creation. Thanks for the uplifting video, best of luck on your creative ventures, and keep being an awesome animator!

...omnichord backing track? neat edit: honestly I think when people say "every frame of spiderverse looks like it came out of a comic" what they're really seeing is the directing. The way they move the camera and position the characters, combined with the aesthetic choices using comic book 'artifacting' for lack of a better term, mean that it's really easy to picture each set of shots as a series of comic panels. Kind of hard not to once I noticed it tbh

Great video! I'm glad to be apart of the '3d tuber' community. I like that once a 3d model is made, It can be used for however long I see fit. You can pour so much detail into little things and then use them for as long as needed. And you aren't creating extra work for yourself by including all that detail like 2D would suffer from.

Hey man glad to see your improvement, funny thing is 2 weeks ago i went for 2 week school trip in germany where we were exploring our talents, and i said i wanted to make a comic series, the guy liked the idea, and we could choose between making a website and learning blender, it was my first time, and while i though it was messy for me and i didnt finish the animation since i ran out of time, i manage to make a g1 soundwave model, and while it wasnt perfect by any means, it felt good to make it, so im concidering to pick blender, however not sure for what, ive been really into drawing since like age of 13 and even before little, so seeing people like you it makes me inspired. however i often question myself if its worth it or not, while im excited when i work on the comic, like putting ideas in my head on paper or brainstorming new concepts, i find few obsticals in my way, like not having time due to school, not sure if my ideas are good enough or if i can write them well, if my art is good, i dont know how to animated on a tablet since my whole life i only drawn on paper (what doesnt help is that i have dysgraphia) and just other obsticals, i hope this comment doesnt come off as too self centered, i just been having these thoughts for a while and idk this felt like a good place to went, anyway i really like your work, i never joined any patreon, but i might concider joining yours, anyway thank you for reading

I've just recently gotten into Blender, and I am officially obsessed. Also, like most zoomers, I've always had the itch to make YT videos some day. Maybe I can do that with this style. A 3D animated avatar, that is. Thanks to you and the other brilliant creators you showed. Yall are really inspiring forreal. Hopefully I'll be able to create something just as cool as you guys at some point 💜

from the first video that I watch (stacking items on head) I always think you are a super stylish, super talented, super cute animator! a 2D cutout of a doodle guy with detached hands and shoes put into 3D assets of a desktop, keyboard, router, and such. I mean, come on! If that isn't expressive and stylish and textured™ 3DTuber I don't know what is.

Dude not only is the video well made and insightful to see these creators. its also the same with the comments. there's way more 3dtubers than I thought. I thought of this at work today but I need to bring these animators up as their stuff is so good Brawlers world is the reason I picked up blender. their y2k anime style mixed with the lore behind their videos is amazing knopes production also supports a lowpoly y2k style with a squash and stretch mixed in. pafbar has the cutest animations, especially given how a good portion of them is about a cute couple venik hue has a video about parrying a nuke. that's pretty gnarly 2kdoplr has demo reels and youtube shorts while they're working on their own series. and Ill continue to edit this comment when I find more.

Right now this type of stuff is my way of defining wich youtubers are putting effort or not, i love finding channels that have their own style.
